Summary:
Majestic Mountain is a modern 4-bedroom, 4-bath townhome with ski mountain views, sleeping 10. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, the kids get a big bunk room, and there are two bikes for the Yampa River Core Trail right outside. The free city bus stops 50 yards from the door and gets you to the ski base in about 10 minutes.
The Space:
This three-level townhome is a perfect family getaway, with an open kitchen, dining and living area, radiant in-floor heat throughout, and a heated 2-car garage to keep your gear dry and warm.
Bedrooms (sleeps 10), each with its own bathroom:
- Bedroom 1: King bed
- Bedroom 2: King bed
- Bedroom 3: Queen bed
- Bunk room: Two bunk beds
Also: two bikes for the Core Trail, board games, pack 'n play and high chair, a laptop-friendly workspace, and a fully stocked kitchen.
Guest Access:
You'll have the whole townhome to yourselves. Your door code is the last 4 digits of the booker's phone number, and we'll send it again the morning of check-in (Nest/Yale smart lock).
You have 2 private parking spots in the heated garage, and there are non-reserved guest spots in the neighborhood, first come, first served. Please unload at the curb by the front door or in the garage, never in the shared alley, where you'll be ticketed and fined.
The Neighborhood:
Majestic is a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood of full-time residents, backing onto a protected wetland along the Yampa River. Walk out to the Yampa River Core Trail, a flat, paved path that runs along the river all the way downtown, past parks, the botanic gardens and hot springs. The river is great for fishing, tubing and paddleboarding, and you'll often see sandhill cranes, eagles and otters. The grocery store and the ski area are about 5 minutes away by car.
Getting Around:
The free city bus stops at the entrance to the neighborhood ("Majestic Circle" stop), about 50 yards from the front door, and gets you to the ski base in about 10 minutes. Take the Orange line in winter and the Green line in summer; the RouteShout 2.0 app has schedules and live tracking. The bus also runs downtown and to the grocery stores.
Other Things to Note:
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
This is a family-friendly neighborhood, so please respect quiet hours (9 PM to 9 AM). A noise monitor on the property sends an alert if noise exceeds set levels during quiet hours.
