„My wife and I rented the suite for three nights during the Apple festival. Everything was as described in the listing. The suite is located on the ground level of a three story house. It has a walkout patio that overlooks Lake Superior. Property was super clean and well equipped. Bed is comfortable and big. (Großer Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Gasgrill (Überdacht, direkt vor der Eingangstür). Eine Feuer- und Badestelle befinden sich im Gartenbereich. Wir hatten einen sehr, sehr netten Kontakt zum Besitzer, der im Haupthaus wohnt. Wir haben zusammen am Feuer gesessen und ein sehr netten Gespräch geführt. ...

The school itself had sold out of its rooms on their property so I needed to look for my own accommodations.The Suite Three at La Pointe Lodging was just perfect, only one block from the ferry and a quick 1-1/2 mile drive to the Madeline Island School. The room was bright, clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. My experience could not have been better.“

If you stay here, we highly recommend spending time on Madeline Island; don't just use it as a launching point to other excursions. “

We had a bonfire in the patio firepit on Saturday night. The property is within easy walking distance of downtown, including the Madeline Ferry and the Apostle Island Grand Tour. We already booked for next summer.“
