Host does live on property in attached building and there were several unexpected rules like quiet hours & no access to heat or fireplaces (September gets quite chilly at night!) which made the stay feel a little less special. However, overall great experience and an excellent choice if looking for local historic flavor in Castine.“

„The location of the property was amazing right on the lake! The cabin was rustic but very clean and decorated well. The only problem is that bathroom is small. The shower is average but the reminder of room is extremely small and is a little difficult to maneuver .
