„A very convenient place for visiting many attractions. We visited Mackinac Island, Charlevoix, Alpena and Sturgeon Bay on day trips. House was clean and comfortable. Wood paneling, cabinetry and sturdy furniture brought back great memories. We loved the easy beach access. The views from the house were fantastic.“

„The host was super nice and so thoughtful. She communicated with me very quickly, kindly, and was super helpful. There was a welcome booklet with nearby restaurants, grocery stores, beaches, and other great things. The beds were super comfy to sleep in for sure! They also made sure to keep stocked whatever you could think of (or forgot to pack), which was so incredible. Location is nice and secluded with being in a road back road right in a river. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone ...

„This was my first ever booking of a VRBO or any other property. I feel like the bar is set way too high now and I have so much to say that I don't even know where to start.While the pictures are good, getting there in person you will quickly see how special this place is. The property is secluded from the road by about 40' of dense tree line. Beautiful clean sand from the beach to the front door of the property. I am not sure when the place was renovated but the owner did a phenomenal job ...

„Stayed here again and it was just as good as the first time. It was during a heat advisory so it was hot but that’s no one’s fault. I would advise if you come when it is really hot to bring your own fans. Only because the air was so warm we had an issue sleeping because there was no a/c only fans. We used 3 of our own fans with all the other fans on and it was still hard to sleep at night. We ended up leaving a day early due to it but that was 100% our choice and due to the weather. „Missy was very quick with communication and helpful. The cottage was cozy but still plenty of space for 5 of us. We knew the cottage wasn't on the lake, but we didn't exactly understand we had to walk down the road and across the highway to access the beach (only about a quarter mile, but no parking closer). It's not really a complaint just a revelation! Would definitively rent here again!“
