A Home to Relax and Unwind
Evenings settle in front of the wood burner, with a striped armchair pulled up beside the original stone walls and a Smart TV with Netflix for nights in. The kitchen is set up for proper cooking, with a range cooker and a retro SMEG fridge, and the dining table beneath the staircase sits the whole group for long meals. In summer the private garden comes into its own, with outdoor furniture for eating outside.

The Layout

• Living area: Wood burner against exposed stone walls, striped armchair and a Smart TV with streaming services. Firewood provided.

• Kitchen: Full kitchen with range cooker, SMEG fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine, with open shelving and cooking basics.

• Dining area: Dining table beneath the staircase, seating the group for meals.

• Bedroom 1: Double bed.

• Bedroom 2: Two single beds, set under sloping eaves.

• Bathroom: Walk-in rainfall shower behind an oak door, with towels and toiletries provided.

• Outdoor space: Private cottage garden with outdoor furniture and a garden bench, reached through a metal gate.

Location
Rodborough is a quiet corner of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with open common land and views across the Stroud valleys to the Severn Estuary. The common is a short walk away, with a good local pub and award-winning ice cream both within a gentle stroll. Stroud town, with its famous Saturday farmers` market, is a short drive down the hill.

• Please remove shoes inside the cottage
• Please keep noise to a minimum in the evenings out of respect for the neighbours
• You should start the dishwasher and washing machine if you use them before leaving
• Please turn off lights and heating and close all windows when heading out
• Please always close the gate behind you, as cows graze nearby
• Return the keys to the keybox on departure

Good to Know Before You Book
The cottage sits within a row of period cottages, reached on foot down a grass verge and through a metal gate, so a short walk with bags should be expected. Parking is in a public bay on the lane about 50m away, shared with others visiting the common rather than allocated to the cottages, so a space is not guaranteed. Cows graze nearby, so please always close the gate behind you. Both bedrooms are reached by stairs, and the twin room sits under sloping eaves. Check-in is self check-in via a keybox on the property, with the code sent the morning of arrival. Please remove shoes inside the cottage.

Extra charges
Pets are welcome at £25 per pet per stay, up to a maximum of 2, so please include any pets when booking. A number of extras can be arranged, each subject to availability and requested after booking through a secure third-party platform: extra firewood and kindling (£25), a birthday celebration package (£89), continental breakfast (£15), rosé wine (£21), sparkling wine (£29), still white wines (priced by item), early check-in (£30) and late check-out (£30).

Booking policy
Guests are required to pay a security deposit of £200 prior to their stay. This is fully refundable pending no damages or excess cleaning being required. This will be a pre-authorisation hold on the card taken at least 24 hours before you check in, and is automatically released within 3 days after check out.

Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled. Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.

Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
