Charmants appartements de vacances à Sud-est de l'Utah - Glen Canyon National Recreation Area

Sunset at Reflection Canyon.

It is a 2 hour drive from Escalante on a dirt road where a AWD is highly recommended. However when we arrived at the parking lot area we couldn't believe that a Honda Fit would make it there, but there it was. :-)

From the parking lot area it is a 5 hour hike (plus minus one hour, depends on your navigation skills) through the stony desert of southern Utah. The hike itself is already beautiful but the reward when you eventually arrive at Reflection Canyon is priceless.
We were the only two persons out there and we didn't even meet someone on our way back the next day.

Make sure you carry enough water as there is absolutely no water source anywhere. Also I think that this place can not be found without a GPS but I was wrong with the Honda Fit before, too. ;-)

« Chicken feces all over outdoor parking are, severe dog urine and feces smell plus stains on carpeting indoors. Host uses Febreze, but that doesn't take care of the stench. We were unable to stand the smell to use the Q bedroom - urine/feces so strong, immediate headaches. Smaller bedroom also reeks of dog urine/feces. Woke up to spider bites on our hands and feet. Yellow stained mat in shower, so we didn't use the shower. Advertised w/ shower& dryer, which is why we rented for one twenty...

« Stayed one night, loved the location. The cabin itself is fine and has necessary amenities. It would have been nice to have some sugar for the Folgers coffee, and maybe some tissues. Had a couple issues: We could not lock the door once outside, so we had to lug our stuff in and out of the car when we went to town or out for a hike. The location was amazing too: just minutes from Main Street, super close to Arches National Park, and surrounded by great hiking and mountain biking trails. « It was a great location to take in Arches and Canyonlands. It fit our needs well. The bed was very comfortable and the washer/dryer was appreciated. To get to the entrance, one has to descend steep stone stairs without a handrail. If you have physical limitations, I would not recommend this location for you. I had a sprained ankle for this trip, and the stairs were almost too tricky for me. But the overall unit was clean and comfortable. »

"Très cher pour une petite chambre triste et mal aménagée. Papier qui se décolle, stores et fenêtres abîmés. Climatisation très bruyante. Produits de toilette placés trop haut .difficile de se servir sauf si on est grand. Prix excessif et sans petit déjeuner. A déconseiller "

"Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Petit déjeuner correct avec pancakes et personnel agréable. L’hôtel est pet friendly mais j’ai été déçue de m’apercevoir qu’il n’y avait pas de chambre spécifique pour les animaux en trouvant des croquettes qui restaient au sol du précédent client. Ce n’est pas correct pour les gens allergiques. Et dommage également de ne pas pouvoir ouvrir un tout petit peu la fenêtre comme on le peut dans d’autres hôtels."
