« The building is very old (the oldest hotel in Alaska) but it was a great stay. I never had any issues. I couldn't open my window because I was on the 2nd floor and the building looked to be built into the mountain so there was a lot of foliage right outside my window, but they provided a box fan. There was a Daddy Longlegs spider on the ceiling but I left him alone and he left me alone. I would stay here again. »

« The Aspen suites in Sitka has the kindest and caring staff I’ve ever experienced. The location is absolutely perfect, close to both activities and many restaurants. My room was impeccably, clean, check in simple, check out simple, and the transportation shuttle was as quick as could be at the airport. This will be my place to stay from now on in Sitka, Alaska.! »

« Hottel Gal was very unhelpful, I got in early requested to check in early and was told I couldn't when i checked the internet site it showed that she could have checked me in. I ended up sitting in lobby for 4 hours. Overall, the place was not very well kept. Room was rundown, and musty. Bathroom hasn't been fixed up in a decade, lots of stains and worn-out floors, tub, and room in general was low budget. Very noisy, from guests, car alarms going off.
