Legacy Lighthouse...Tim has been captivated by lighthouses his whole life. His adult children recall the vacations that were scheduled around visiting as many lighthouses as possible, to and from their destination. Tim was an educator most of his life, helping young people fall in love with woodworking as a the industrial arts teacher at his alma mater and local school district. His summer projects included building one house a year for a lucky family. His talent caused people to book early and wait years to have Tim Immel build their dream home. After retiring from education, Tim expanded his construction business and continues to be one of the busiest builders in the area. Even in the busyness, he has had an unquenchable desire to build a lighthouse. In 2021, he acted on this desire. Tim believes in leaving a meaningful personal legacy, but he also wanted to leave a physical legacy; one that his adult children and grandchildren will enjoy and cherish for a lifetime.
