the room design and lighting is a bad joke; can't shave or comb hair with the light at wash basin; no working table and chair; never seen such stupid non functional room design and furnishing. Air conditioning is horrible; temperature done not come down and it feels very humid and damp; almost impossible to sleep with the thick comforter provided with non-functional air condition which is not only in my room by 3 others on different levels travelling with me. Never staying again in this hotel

I do recommend for your next visit to stay in our Glacier Suite. Our spacious 64 square meters Glacier Suites are located on the 32nd to 36th floor, offering panoramic views over Surabaya. Check in process were smooth, even-though it weren't at the 33th floor as declared on the booking site. We stayed 2 nights at the Glacier Suites. It was far from the standard of 5 stars hotels. The carpets we’re dusty and full of stains. The bathroom amenities and interiors were below par than advertised. Bedding was mediocre, 3 stars standards. Lack of placement in light switches. Overall it wasn't as we expect it to be. Lack of hospitality services in all aspect. Poor standards of social distancing and crowd control during pandemic.

Don't stay here
Too many other choices. Here was what went wrong: no transportation from airport to hotel when we really needed it. No toilet tissue left after housekeeping, even when we called to remind them after. In the middle of nowhere. YOu need car for anything. Takes forever to get served a cup of coffee. At pool side bar I got told I had to pay cash for a drink because i had "run out of deposit". That last one is first time ever.

Over crowded hotel
I will start with the positive : modern hotel, nice room with a really comfe and king size bed, very good breakfast. But the hotel has clearly a problem of over population. The 4 lifts are not enough for all the guests and are over crowded. Be prepared to wait 10 or 15mn for a lift every time you want to go down or go up. This is absolutely annoying to loose so much time in a 5* hotel.

Great place
Arrived at the hotel around 19:00, had to stand in line for 8minutes to check in. Chandelier and artsy furniture, but dirty carpet. Concierge was very friendly and helpful, even when colleagues left without leaving me the card to our room (we booked connecting rooms). The AC was cold and great, room and bathroom were nice and clean. One thing though, if we close the door between the bathroom and bedroom, one can still enter the bathroom from the outside. Thank you for making our stay comfortable

Hotel staff very friendly & nice smile welcoming when we check-in & check-out. The room design is nice and have a comfort pillow & bed. Room amenities doesn't like 5star hotel. Breakfast is nice with the local dishes. Overall is good & pleasant stay. The only unpleasant comment are the BBQ dinner buffet we had is totally unworth for the unfresh seafood & ingredients, also the poor service.

The room was very nice and clean. The cleaning staff even folded my dirty laundry. The pool is an oasis in the middle of a dirty city. The Brazilian steak house at the hotel is amazing and reasonably priced for what you get. My only complaint is that I wish there was slightly more water pressure from the shower and even then the shower was beautiful.
