Golf trip at South Surfside

This is our second stay at this property. Great place, great location….pool, hot tub, beach, property layout is very nice, and restaurants in walking distance. We played some great golf courses all within a 30 drive. My only disappointment was a shortage of toilet paper, soap and some kitchen essentials.

convenient location

Much of the house is recently remodeled it looks like. The rooms were bigger in person than the pictures made them appear, this was most evident in the living/dining room which was a huge relief to not be crowded for space. Check in was super simple. The management company was amazing to work with. The location was great. Our last rental was on the beach so I worried how I’d take being in a second row house but getting to the beach was so quick and easy, just a quick walk across the street, with a crosswalk. There were also many restaurants within a 10 minute walk safely along sidewalks the whole way. The hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived which was great. The hot tub is a nice size, seating 7 so we enjoyed it a lot. I will note, that it does say “heated pool” but whatever type of heat they use I don’t know and I’m only familiar with the propane style we use. But for wherever reason we were told on inquiry that the pool doesn’t heat when it’s below 55 degrees or at night. So not only was it not warm when we arrived but since our first couple days the high barely got to 55 the pool didn’t heat up until our last day (and checkout is 10am so didn’t get to use it). I think “pool with a heater” is a better description than “heated pool” since it was indeed not heated (they came out and turned the heat on the day after we checked in). The hot tub was plenty for us so this would not keep me from choosing this house again. I love that all linens were included, the kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and dishes, including wine glasses. I was also pleasantly surprised to find not only a portacrib but a high chair and bed rail as well. We were traveling with kids and to save space I had just planned to use my stroller as a high chair so was happy I didn’t need to. There was not a baby gate but they didn’t list one either so I didn’t expect one, I just wanted to point that out since there were other non listed baby items so if you’re traveling with an infant you may want one for the bottom of the stairs, ours is old enough to navigate stairs. There was also an abundance of sand and pool toys.

Good stay

We enjoyed our stay. The listing said hot tub was included but we were not allowed to use it because of breaker problems but we really enjoyed everything else. The house was clean and well stocked, and the pool was heated.

Family Celebration at the Beach

Comfortable home for family who need quiet bedrooms and fun areas to congregate like the living area and pool/patio. A short walk to the beach in a nice neighborhood with access to some restaurants and shops. Everyone around us was so friendly and considerate. We loved our stay. It was our first visit to Surfside Beach. The heated pool in November was the highlight. We will definitely return!

Perfect fall vacation!

We were interested in this listing mostly because of the heated pool and hot tub! Those were so nice to have for the kids to enjoy in November! House was great and we loved the location! Very close to the beach and restaurants!

Clearly a business property

The house was perfect for what we wanted, close to the beach with a small pool to relax in. The house wasn't as clean as some people in our group felt it should be but it wasn't anything egregious. We were surprised to I find no linens or towels because we canceled a different beach house that didn't provide those basic amenities. Overall we enjoyed our stay and that is why I gave it 5 stars but I did want to mention some of the things that other guests might want to know.

Love the house!

House was great! Loved the bathrooms being separated from the showers & toilets. Plenty of space for everyone. Hot tub was down but they compensated with the heated pool...which we loved! Great stay!!

Friends Getaway

We were three adult couples. We had a great vacation! House was very roomy and comfortable as we each had our own bathroom. Private pool was great. Location can't be beat! A block off the ocean and a block away from bars and restaurants. Alan, the property manager, was very nice. Always responded within minutes. Would stay here again

Best Location in Surfside!

We wanted this house due to the fact that it appeared close to the beach, close to some restaurants and bars, and had a pool. Our vacation included six adults, and we did opt to rent the golf cart. Alan, the property manager, was very easy to work with and quick to respond to communication. The house was perfect for what we were looking for and we enjoyed ample beach time, pool time, and golf cart rides to the nearby pier. We also enjoyed walking from the beach to a nearby restaurant to grab an app or a drink outside before returning home. Plenty of space for our crew!

Great Week in Surfside

Really enjoyed our stay at this property, plenty of space for everyone, very clean, and the communication was seamless. It was nice to be close to the pier area with food/drink just a few steps away. Golf cart was nice for getting around. The pool was great for our 5 and 8 yr old girls. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Property

Great Location close to the beach and plenty of stores. Plenty of space for my big family. The hot tub was broken the whole time, but we still enjoyed the pool and ocean. The pool was cleaned every other day which was nice. We will look into this place again next year.

Enjoyed our stay in spite of some issues

We enjoyed our stay, having the pool was great, and the area is nice. The house was pleasant, but they had to replace some of the beds during our stay. They were in rough shape and one of them broke. They also had to fix the bathroom fans. All of this was a bit disappointing. We were also disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working and we weren’t told of this until we arrived. They offered us $100 off on the golf cart rental as compensation but we decided not to rent it. The family had a good time though.

Family Vacation Getaway

We loved having the pool at the house to entertain the kids if we didn’t want to go to the beach. The hot tub wasn't heating but a new motor was coming to get it fixed. Location was perfect were close to everything we wanted to do. It was a great house for a family.

Fun family vacation house! With all the fun amenities and plenty of room for every one

Great location
