This house was lovely for a long weekend away with friends. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and we're a bunch of foodies so we appreciated that. We also had a really nice time in the pool, and enjoyed the calm and serene environment of the yards, broadly. If you'd like the pool heated, make sure to communicate that with the owners. All procedures for check-in and check-out were conveyed very clearly.Our stay was broadly great. The house is very clean and comfortable. There are a lot of light switches, so while labeling them might not be aesthetically pleasing, it would be nice if they were a bit easier to use.

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I wanted to find a place that we could enjoy our anniversary, bring our doggie and still get some work done remotely. Since we were there from Tuesday through Saturday, my husband had a few meetings he could not miss. The wifi was great for his meetings and the property was great for me and our pup to run around and explore. we requested the pool heated knowing there would be a cost and they were very generous and gave us half of the days for free. We enjoyed our night swims under the stars in a very comfortable pool, then we would finish off the night in the hot tub (getting out of the pool was a bit chilly!) We loved the local towns of Sutter Creek and Jackson, and ran around exploring the antique stores. Pine Grove had an amazing little Ice Cream parlor, Munnerlyns Ice Creamery, Kit Carson Crunch is to die for! Overall it was a wonderful week and I would definitely return with more family and friends to share this beautiful rental.

Excellent Property and Location for our Supper Club Get Together!

Beautiful property! There were 4 couples in our group staying and it worked out perfectly. Everyone had their "own" bathroom. So quiet in the house as well - no hearing others, or hearing the bathrooms flushing etc. HUGE well-equipped kitchen. We were a supper club meeting to go wine tasting and cooking in the kitchen! So much space for all of us to work and cook! Property is as advertised - beautiful pool, plenty of parking, quiet, tv in all the rooms as well as a/c and ceiling fans. Nice and comfortable. Showers could be taller! They are a bit low. But excellent communication with owners.

Gorgeous home

Our gal’s trip was fabulous. The house accommodated us perfectly, with comfort an privacy. The interior is tastefully done and well appointed. The shining star of the property was the exterior, pool, slide, waterfalls. However our enjoyment was interrupted by bihourly calls to reactivate the water features. I mean every 2 hours we had to reach out to the owners, off site, to turn features back on. We paid for the pool heating and really only got one day of comfortable water. We had wood-slated loungers for the group. No matter the expense of the wood longes, they need pads. The sun was not to be abated. The only umbrella was on the other side of the pol, encased on. Cement.

Wonderful Place to Stay!

We reserved this property for a group of 10 (family and friends) to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had never been to this area and were looking for a house with plenty of space, and privacy, for all of our guests along with a great yard, swimming pool and kitchen for our enjoyment. This house checked off all the boxes and then some. It is truly beautiful and it's location in the middle of nature and all it's wonders was quite a gift. We were even greeted by deer and wild turkeys every morning! So fun! The swimming pool with the slide and waterfalls are what sold us and it did not disappoint. We had a great time in it! The owners were very sweet and accommodating and even treated my husband and I to a bottle of wine at a local winery which had amazing wines and food! The only disappointment was that the weekend went by too fast! I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a fabulous get away! We had the best time!

Beautiful- issues with poil

Chose this solely for the pool… sadly the first day and a half were spent dealing with house managers and pool people- couldn’t really use the pool. Beautiful house and town is so cute but you stay at this place for the pool… and the price tag is big, so I expected more. Disappointed but still a beautiful place with lots of potential.

Labor Day Getaway

Had a fantastic stay at Il Respiro! The pool is fantastic so we spent most of our time going down the slide! Would be great if there were plastic cups and plates since you'll likely end up mostly outside taking advantage of the fresh air and watching the local wildlife.

Wine Country Luxury

Our group of 12 had an amazing weekend at this luxury property. We all slept comfortably and the house is stocked with everything you need. The pool and hot tub were amazing after our afternoon in the downtown Sutter Creek. The only downside for me was that since i booked the home, i had to communicate with the owner /host what felt like constantly. The waterfall and slide shut off after a few hours and you have to message the owners/hosts to have them turn it back on. They are very responsive and ever so kind, I just haven't had to have so much contact with a host while staying. We for sure will be back. It's hard to find a home that everyone loves!

Excellent summer staycation

We rented the house for 3 nights for my family’s annual summer staycation. The house was perfect for us, as there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. It was clean and well equipped, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The highlight was the pool with the water slide and waterfalls. With the water running, it felt like we were at a tropical destination. The control to the water slide was unfortunately not accessible, so we had to message the owners every time the water automatically turned off, which was every couple of hours. However, the upside is that the owners were also very responsive. We also enjoyed hanging out around the firepit at night. We will definitely be back again if the timing lines up next summer.

Excellent Water Slide

We had an excellent time during our stay. We hosted a celebration for my girlfriend’s birthday and the house was a wonderful accommodation. The pool was incredibly scenic and comfortable and the water slide was a ton of fun. The price was a bit steep and there are quiet hours after 9pm, but the property is excellent and the hosts are very friendly and responsive. We would highly recommend the property to anyone with the money to rent it.

Beautiful home with many extras

Photos don’t really show how great this rental is for a large group. Oversized kitchen makes it easy for many hands. Well-appointed bathrooms with ample linens. Kudos to property managers, who were gracious and thorough. Pool and slide enjoyed by all.

The most lovely home!!

Our group of 12 LOVED this house! It's beautiful, spacious and both well stocked and decorated. We had everything we needed. The location was very private and also felt very safe. The outdoor / pool area is phenomenal, we spent most of our time out there and you'd be very lucky to do so as well! Don't hesitate this house is perfect.

Beautiful property

Everything was perfect except this property needs a generator or battery back up on their solar. We had two outages in our 3 day stay. The property also needs candles and flashlights for back ups. The care taker brought over 1 flashlight and tea candles, which didn’t really provide light. We had to go to Walgreens and buy big candles so we could see. The first outage was 20 hours and second was 5 hours. We were unable to cook dinner our first night. We got creative with a pour over for our morning coffee.

We had a group of 10 for a birthday party and everyone had a great time. We all had our own space and never felt crowded. The property is beautiful, house is very well kept. We enjoyed seeing the deer and turkeys most mornings. We walked out to the clearing and watched the sunset every evening. Our hosts were very helpful and quick to respond with any and all questions. Our group is already planning our next getaway to this property. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Labor Day vacation W/family

This Place is beautiful and very Quiet. Since supposedly we were the first ones to ever use this vacation home, some things needed to be fixed. Joan was very nice and accommodating. sadly the pool heater was not working at this time according to the owner so we could not enjoy it late hours.

Awesome!!!

The home and property are absolutely stunning! Owners are very accommodating, understanding, and communicative. Pool towels and all kitchen items you may need are provided! The pool and slide are a blast!! Neighbors are closer than expected so had to be reasonably mindful of noise when outside but it was a great time had by all. Loved seeing the turkeys and deer in the yard in the morning, so cool! Would come back for a friends or family trip for sure!
