« This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended! »

« The location alone is a wonderful reason to rent this place - so close to Beal’s, we ate there twice, and a lovely neighborhood for walking, with town just steps away. But on top of that, it was a good and comfortable home base for exploring the area. We had all we needed, and loved that we could stay with our dog. »

« Home was perfect for our extended family of 9. It is quiet, spacious, and very accommodating. Cooked fresh lobster every night we ate at the house and not out. Great little, non-touristy lobster pound called Hodgdon's Seafood, only minutes from the house. Everything we needed to make us feel at home is here. We loved that we could reach most places on our to-do list within half an hour. Although, we did travel 2.5 hours to white water raft on the Kennebec. So worth the trip! We also recommend...

« The house had great space for family. Check-in was simple. On arrival the space was clean and just as pictured online. The open floor plan with kitchen, dining and lounging was perfect for 9 adults and two children. It was nice to be able to all sit down to dinner on first night at the same table. We hung out together on first floor and it never felt crowded. Outdoor space very comfortable too. »
