The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area offers a comfortable space to gather, with a beautiful open fireplace for cooler evenings and air conditioning for year-round comfort.

A delightful sunroom provides another peaceful place to sit with a book, enjoy your morning coffee or simply admire the surrounding bushland.

Step outside onto the spacious waterfront deck, where you can enjoy a BBQ, dine outdoors or relax while watching boats glide past and native wildlife move through the surrounding landscape.

Two Beautiful Bedrooms – Sleeping Up to Four Guests
The Haven offers two bedrooms, making it ideal for couples, two couples or a small family.

The Upstairs Retreat

The upstairs bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed, its own balcony and beautiful views of the surrounding bushland and water.

One of the cottage’s most romantic features is the luxurious copper bathtub, where you can soak while taking in the peaceful natural surroundings.

The upstairs bathroom also includes a separate shower, toilet and beautiful copper basin.

The Downstairs Bedroom

Located on the main living level, the second bedroom features a double bed and convenient access to its own bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.

The cottage also offers an additional powder room for guests’ convenience.

One of The Haven’s greatest attractions is its direct connection to the water.

The spacious waterfront deck overlooks a tranquil bay, providing the perfect place to enjoy breakfast in the morning sunshine, a relaxing afternoon or an evening drink surrounded by nature.

Guests have access to a private pontoon and Kayaks, allowing you to experience the beauty of Cottage Point from the water.

Explore the sheltered waterways, admire the surrounding national park or simply relax on the deck and enjoy the ever-changing scenery.

Life jackets are provided, and all water activities are subject to the property’s safety guidelines and suitable weather conditions.

Arrive by Road or Water

Arriving by Car

Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful bushland of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park to Cottage Point.

The property has road access and convenient carport parking. From the carport, a private inclinator transports guests down to the cottage, making it easier to bring luggage and belongings.

Arriving by Boat

Guests may also arrive by private boat and access the cottage from the waterfront pontoon.

Please arrange your arrival by boat with the hosts in advance.

The cottage’s main living level offers convenient access to the kitchen, lounge, dining area, downstairs bedroom and bathroom, while internal stairs lead to the upstairs retreat.

As The Haven is located in a peaceful national park setting, we recommend purchasing groceries, drinks and other essentials before arriving.

Terrey Hills is a convenient place to stop on the way, with a local grocer, butcher, pharmacy and other amenities.

If you are planning to enjoy a BBQ, prepare a romantic dinner or simply spend your entire stay relaxing by the water, we suggest bringing everything you need.

Local dining venues may have limited opening hours, so we recommend checking availability and making reservations in advance.

A Peaceful and Private Retreat
The Haven is designed for guests seeking relaxation, tranquillity and a connection with nature.

Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, planning a romantic weekend, enjoying quality time with family or simply escaping the everyday, the cottage provides a beautiful setting to create lasting memories.

The property accommodates a maximum of four guests and is not suitable for parties or large gatherings.

The owners live in a separate residence on the property and are available to assist when required while respecting your privacy.

For everyone’s safety, particularly given the waterfront and bushland setting, children must be supervised around the water, pontoon, decks and inclinator.
