Hotels nahe Talek Gate (Maasai Mara)

„Food was good but our room and bathroom were infested with bees. We were not told that drinks at dinner time had to be paid. So it was surprising to see a check after a cup of juice. Something was hitting our walls the entire night so we could barely sleep. But the view and atmosphere were nice.“

„The staff was extremely pleasant especially Anne, Cate and Duncan. Making sure we were always taken care of!“

„Our safari at Lorian was absolutely outstanding and epic! It was small and very personal, with amazing service and food. We were blown away having gourmet dinners and meals cooked personally for us while in the "back country", overlooking a river with hippos, and right in the safari country. Betty was our game driver and was amazing. She was constantly on the phone with other drivers tracking what animals were where. We saw a leopard with a kill up in a tree, a lioness take down a wildebeest, ...

„We loved staying at the Mara Major Lodge. Yes, it was pricey… but worth it. The tentalows are lovely and we got to hear many wild animals during the night, the staff was LOVELY and helped us plan all our excursions from A-Z! Special shoutout to our sweet game driver Sam. All the staff was Maasai as well, which was a lovely cultural immersion and they were all very open and friendly. Oh and the entrance to the park is so close, you can see it from the lodge! So convenient. “

„Das Mara Intrepid Camp am Talek-River ist ein kleines Paradies. Sehr gutes Personal und viel zu gutes Essen.“

„Super Lage direkt am Mara Fluss mit toller Aussicht Terrasse. Tolles Küchen und Serviceteam.“

„We visited Julias River Camp for 5 days and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly, the food was incredibly well, the game drives with our guide Dennies were beautiful, the tents were big enough and well suited for the stay. We saw the "big five" in less than 2 days! We promised to visit the camp again!“

„Fully recommended“

„I've been to Mara a few times, this is truly one of the best places to stay. I believe it's a new camp - excellent location, close to the main gate but also in the nature to make it feel like you're within the park. The views are breathtaking, one of the best sunsets I've ever seen! Good, cozy vibes as well, the staff is so friendly. You're basically in the middle of the Mara nature. Also, I highly recommend the nature walk! Get to see so many animals around (we saw giraffes, zebras, ...

„Excellent rooms and so close to the game viewing.“

„Good property we’ve stayed at for years. Love everything but the food. Great place for the money and really close to the game park. We take a group of almost 30 people there every year.“

„Lugar maravilhoso, staff maravilhoso, comida deliciosa. Amamos nossos dias lá. Super recomendo “

„Facilities were fantastic, with hot water and flushing toilets. The only negative were the day staff who did not seem very friendly. I put this down to us getting off on the wrong foot, so was glad we were only staying here for two nights. The guy from our previous day -Safari drive was waiting for us at check out -with the day staff- ( all men ) stating we owed him an extra 10 Dollars, but we showed him the exchange rate and offered him the correct amount of one dollar- which he refused. Thus ...

„A brilliant place to stay. Everyone very friendly. John took us round the Masai mara we saw every thing. He really knows his stuff. The food plentiful and delicious.“
