What a wonderful week we spent over Thanksgiving 2025 with our family of 13. Everything was top notch, the property has the most amazing view of Tamarindo, and the sunsets were a nightly highlight. The property is really well thought out from the dining spaces, pool area and bedrooms.The staff made great recommendations and took care of transportation, fishing and catamaran tour. The two golf carts were provided with the house and were absolutely wonderful for trips into Tamarindo. The house staff cleaned our rooms daily, did laundry daily and cooked amazing breakfast - we loved the “typical” Costa Rican breakfast. Our chefs were top notch and made amazing fresh, healthy meals and even cooked a turkey on Thanksgiving. Our bartender was also amazing. Chamo took great care of us and made our week very special. Would HIGHLY recommend anyone with a larger group to stay at Villa Paraiso!

A little piece of heaven in Costa Rica!

Villa Paraiso is perched on a hill with unparalleled panoramic ocean views. Its sunrises and sunsets are SPECTACULAR! The villa is clean and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat during our stay. The outside living space has lots of sitting areas and an infinity pool. The fantastic location offers easy access to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. We skipped renting a car and opted for golf carts. They were perfect for navigating the steep hill and going into town. Our house staff was warm, friendly and made sure our needs were met. We used their recommended private chef during our stay. Chef Lindell and his staff went above and beyond with delectable breakfasts, lunches and dinners! I cannot recommend them enough!!!While we encountered a few issues like a faulty drain in one bedroom and a leaky faucet in another, it was nothing that significantly impacted our overall stay. All easily fixable items. Hopefully, this is taken care of for future guests. Villa Paraiso is a lovely oasis! Highly recommend!!

Phenomenal villa and staff!

From the start of the booking (almost a year ago) to the end of our stay, the staff and concierge of this villa were beyond wonderful. The plethora of information that was given to us about what we could do in Tamarindo and around Costa Rica was so helpful, the ease of booking transportation and other needs was easy and straightforward. When we checked, Javier showed us the property, and ensured we had everything we needed. Part of the landscaping was under construction when we arrived, but the remainder of the outdoor space was immaculate with a lot of space for our guests to lounge. My husband and I were married in private 6 months prior, but used the outdoor space to host a miniature ceremony and exchange our vows in front of our closest friends. It could not have been any better, and the housekeepers were SO generous to help us clean up and rearrange the next morning. The housekeepers, Julia and Jessica, were amazing! We had so much peace of mind knowing that our guests had a huge, delicious breakfast every morning. We would easily and quickly recommend staying at this villa and we hope to come back to Tamarindo and stay again!

Family Vacation

The beach views were fantastic. The most used area was the pool and poolside. The on-site staff was fantastic, kind, and helpful. The road to the Villa is being fully paved in the near future which will help with the travel in and out of the Villa to the main road.

Amazing property

We had 13 adults and the house was perfect. The views are incredible a the staff was amazing. I would definitely come back. The only thing that could be better is the road to get to the house… it’s not that easily accessible especially if you have older people. Other than that it’s perfect!

Stunning views

We had an absolute amazing time and it was mostly due to the location of the villa, a short golf cart ride to downtown, beach, supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Perfectly comfortable for 10 guests, 6 having their own room/bathroom. Staff was wonderful, breakfast served daily at the time of our choosing to accommodate for excursions' departure times; rooms cleaned daily as well, to include laundry as needed. We hired the recommended chef to prepare a few of our meals and had massages scheduled at the villa as well. On rainy days, it was perfect having these services at the residence rather than driving the golf carts down the hill in a rainstorm. All in all a very lovely experience. The only few downsides were the lack of functioning lights in the otherwise absolutely gorgeous infinity pool; we would have loved to have used it in the evenings, after sunset which came early at around 6:00PM each day (June), but without lighting it was very dark so we did not use it at night. We did request that this be fixed, it was however not done during our stay. Wi-Fi was pretty good, a few guests complained that it would drop often, but overall not a big problem, just something to keep in mind if important. There was one shower with a clogged drain, we asked numerous times that it be fixed, but for some reason it wasn't and that guest had to shower in another guest's bathroom. Easily fixable items, hopefully they are taken care of for future guests. Overall a great experience!

Absolutely Incredible Villa and Service

Let me start off by saying the pictures truly do not do this place justice. This place is UNREAL. It is way nicer in person, the property just underwent a renovation last year, everything feels fresh and new and luxurious. The view is unbelievable, the bathrooms are fresh and new, the A/C works incredibly well. It is basically set up like a hotel with 2 unique rooms, and then 6 standard rooms which are all great. It is not outlined enough in the listing, but the staff is AMAZING. The villa was spotless every morning, they cleaned our rooms, and provided a delicious breakfast. Salvador was there every morning to check in with us and make sure everything was perfect for our trip. Lillian was always available via whatsapp for any and all requests. The location is also amazing just a few minutes up the road from Tamarindo beach in a quiet secluded area, providing the unreal view. The only single issue with the place, which isn't really the villas fault, is the road to the villa. It is very steep and rough, and would be a challenging walk to town. The provided golf carts were great for navigating this and getting to and from town. Taxis sometimes had issues getting up the hill at night, but always made it up. In summary, STAY HERE, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Chosen Family Christmas

Could not ask for a better place to spend Christmas with family and friends. View stops you in your tracks. Every night a different sunset. Attention to detail excellent. Staff amazing. Salvador's the best! Strongly recommend hiring Chef Lindell for dinner. Lillian will know who you're talking about. Can recommend this property without reservation!

Perfect Family Retreat

This is an easy 5 star! The unobstructed sunset views left us in awe every night. Checkin and checkout was a breeze. So relaxing to wake up to coffee and breakfast. The property staff helped us book a catamaran tour that was fun for all. She also recommended a private chef for a couple of nights. Sunset views and an amazing dinner followed by super comfortable beds. The provided golf cart made it so easy to visit the beach. Overall we couldn’t be happier with our stay, highly recommend!

Amazing Villa

When we arrived at this villa, we were blown away by the views. The pictures do a great job, but it's so much better in person, it's breathtaking. The staff was amazing and they greeted us with drinks on our arrival making us feel very special. The villa is located on a hilltop which gave us easy access to everything we wanted to experience in town. The golf cart was perfect, it allowed us to get around quickly. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful home!

The Villa itself is great and the view is just amazing. The staff is really nice and helpful. We enjoyed being close to town and enjoyed the ocean and good food after a day of shopping in town. Responsive host! Highly recommend
