I booked this rental for my daughterâs 19th birthday for her and her college friends from Iowa. After reading the reviews, Thursday June 19, 2025 I messaged the host through the app and let them know that I hoped that the reviews of roach infestation in the home was not true and if it was then the problem needed to be handled before we checked in on June 20, 2025 because my daughter is allergic to insects! The host completely disregarded my message and sent the check in information. We checked in on June 20th just to find that the infestation was true! We arrived right at check in time 4:00pm. At 4:15pm, Joe who told us he was the maintenance guy shows up to the property and walks right in without knocking and in his hand was Hot Shot roach bombs. I asked him was he coming to bomb this place he proceeds to say that he only came to check for a leak in the roof in one of the rooms upstairs, by the way the light doesnât work at all in the leaky roof room! I complain to him he says he will be back and we never saw him again. I communicated with the host numerous times about the problem and even had to buy boric acid and other roach killing items in order to stand the 2 nights we stayed! We checked out Sunday morning on June 22nd. Nexa LLC is the property manager of this property and does not want to refund my money or should I say send me confirmation of a refund especially since we did not stay the entire week like we were supposed to. Everyone involved will be held accountable
