Review
The house was clean and the bed seemed newer and was fairly comfortable. I think all of the issues we had were in the bathroom - the fan was so loud and sounded like it was on its last legs. The faucet in the bathtub had a fraction of the water coming out of it that it should have. It, no joke, took more than 20 minutes to fill the bathtub. Then, when the drain plug was opened, it took almost as long to drain all the water out. When the shower was turned on, the pressure was ok, but on the light side. Also, the temperature was only warm. Never hot, even when only the hot water was turned on. Another problem we ran into was there were no outlets accessible from the nightstands. There was one outlet in the middle of the wall behind the headboard, but we couldn’t reach it without moving the entire bed. So, our phones sat on the floor near the outlet on the side wall. They didn’t reach the nightstand from there. The entire house had a funky smell - not sure if it was just really musty or a terrible smelling air freshener. Either way, kinda gross. Lastly, when we first arrived, there was a note from the exterminator that said “I think you may have rats, not moles, in the yard.” I realize that’s outside and shouldn’t effect inside, but it grossed me out. One thing my husband (a firefighter) noticed is that the front of the smoke detector- where the smoke from a fire would enter the unit- was completely covered by a “no smoking” sticker.
