Nice place
Plenty of room for 14 of us. Beds a little hard. Otherwise great time. Lots of games, books, etc. very clean.

Telford Farm House
Large farm house with Plenty of space for large groups. Sleeps 16 people comfortably. 2 full baths. Nice yard. Great kitchen, Dining room spacious large livingroom with 3 couches, kids toy play area. Washer dryer and entry The main floors were not swept. We had to sweep them. 3 beds needed clean sheets. Looked as though they were sleep in. So we we washed them. Plenty of towels for everyone Would recommend for Large groups Overall very pleased

Memorial Day Bike Trip
The Telford House has everything we need for our group. It is lovely old farmhouse style property with lots of bedrooms and generous communal space, including a dining room with space for a dozen or more people, and a large double living room were we could all gather. We loved cooking together in the kitchen which is fully equipped and has a nice layout. We spent a lot of time outside on the porch and at the table in the yard, and everyone loved the flowers that were in full bloom, just gorgeous peonies and others. The bedrooms were SO quiet and the mattresses were very comfortable. The house is so charming that we can't wait to come back next year, and wish we could get there again sooner (fingers crossed). The host was very gracious and easy to reach and communicate with, as was the property manager. This was a wonderful experience.

Great for large family
Stayed here, along with several other close family members from all over the country while we were in town for a wedding. It was a convenient location on a main road that wasn’t very busy. Like most places in the area, this house is located in a quiet country setting. The house itself is old but well kept. It’s got a lot of character and quite a few quirks like the narrow stairwell, slanted wood floors, in-wall shelving, etc. but the 6 upstairs bedrooms provided ample space for our family of 14 to lay our heads at night, as well as great community space including a large dining room with a 16+ person table that was perfect for playing games at night, as well as a large living room with three couches, additional seating, a small breakfast table and piano. That community space created the perfect setting for lots of laughter and memories. The kitchen was nice and roomy with updated appliances. The two baths, one with a toilet and shower and the other with a toilet and full bathtub/shower turned out to be sufficient for all of us too and we never ran out of hot water or anything like that. The driveway was narrow but opened to a parking area that was comfortable for 4 cars and could have probably fit 1 more without anyone being blocked in. Couple small cleaning notes: there was a filter with used coffee grounds left in the coffee maker, the microwave rotating table was caked with something that appears like burnt cheese, ave there were shards of glass and dust swept under one of the beds (maybe the cleaners got distracted and missed/forgot about those things). There’s also a broken window pane that was taped up and loose. Those things were noticeable but ultimately small potatos in what turned out to be a great spot for me and my extended family to stay while we were in town for a long weekend. Would definitely recommend for families of 10+ looking for a comfortable place to stay while in the area.

Lots of room in this house. Was fully stocked with Al the comforts of home. There were even spice in the kitchen. House was clean, and very comfortable. Highly recommended this hosts home.

Perfect house for us, this lovely and spacious home teens with charm and history.
The layout was great, privacy and quiet in the upstairs bedrooms and plenty of room downstairs for group gatherings. We loved the outdoor space too - beautiful plantings.

Old And Moldy
The house was very old and the bathrooms had mold should not be rented at all until it’s completely renovated I was uncomfortable every day terrible stay would not recommend to anyone.

We are sorry to learn from her review that our guest was unhappy with her stay. As the property description makes clear, we offer a 19th-century village farmhouse - an old house. It was built in 1881 but has been extensively renovated over the last 8 years or so: a new full bath with adjoining renovated mud room, a renovated second full bath, a completely renovated kitchen with new appliances, a completely renovated laundry room, all (plaster) walls and ceilings repaired and painted, etc. Our house is also listed on another major short-term residential rental website, where it holds a 4.9 out of 5 rating gleaned from 111 reviews. This guest's review stands in stark contrast to our reviews on that other site. Had this guest communicated any of her difficulties with her stay, we would have made honest efforts to ameliorate the situation. As for mold, the new, downstairs full bath has a new ventilation fan and no mold problems. The second full bath has no fan, but we've not had any mold problems since its renovation about 7 years ago. Nevertheless, we will have our housekeeper check both bathrooms for anything that may have gone unnoticed.
