Perfect winter getaway

Etta Place was the perfect spot for our trip. We came to Colorado to get married and were not disappointed. The view from our room was beautiful, ski access just steps from the door, and the bus that loops around town was convenient for exploring without worrying about driving or parking. The place itself was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed for the 5 days we were there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The management responded to texts quickly. We were within a river trail walk to town and to the free gondola to the top of the mountain. We were also very close to the bike path. The condo is a lovely comfortable place to stay in Telluride.

Nice condo

This was a very nice condo, it felt a little roomier in person than what we saw in pictures. It seems pretty recently updated, the kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and spices, the coffee was really delicious, the bathroom was nice. We had no issues except the disappointment to learn the hot tub was not working. And unfortunately we found the bed and pull out mattresses to be super uncomfortable. We're generally not picky about mattresses, and we've traveled and we sleep on the ground in tents every year. The mattresses here were very very soft. Telluride is small and the whole thing is walkable. This condo was only about 5-10 minute walk from groceries and downtown, and it's a few hundred yards from the river with a nice trail. Parking was no trouble, there was always a sport when we left and returned, and it was only a few hundred yards from the condo.

Great location, but..

We have stayed at Etta two years in a row and neither time has the hot tub been functional. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds we have ever stayed in, and there was no ice maker or garbage disposal. We love the location and the Avant staff was receptive, however we can’t say it was good enough for the price.

Great little condo

This is a perfect condo for a couples getaway. The location is close enough to the town to walk, but far enough to be quiet and away from traffic and town noise. it had all the amenities you need with a grocery store in walking distance. My only "complaint" was that the hot tub was not accessible for use and there was a temporary large hay wall out the front door. While I wish I had been given notice of that with some communication (we booked for the view), it was beyond the owners control - Perhaps prep for snow season? Not sure why the hot tub wasn't available. I was told the team would reach out to the HOA on that. Overall, the Avantstay local team was very helpful with advice, suggestions, and help. I needed to reach out to the main corporate for a question and that team was very prompt and helpful as well. I would book again.

Great Location and good size for 2 adults, nice bathroom, but kitchen small and not set up well

Location and Parking: Fantastic. Check in/ou: Very easy. Size: Good for 2 adults, if a 3rd or 4th person was there and had to use the sofa bed it would have been really crowded. The living space (kitchen and living room) is not big. Also no table, only kitchen counter Kitchen: Appliances good except microwave (small- very short top to bottom and controls limited and not user friendly). NOT well stocked with dishes or utensils. Even with 2 people we ran out of utensils and glasses every day (e.g. only 5 mismatched spoons and 6 forks, only 2 "big" glasses which were only 8 ounces, there were several small juice glasses and a few small mugs) To the owners: I suggest at least buying an 8 or 10 person set of stainless steel and a glass set with bigger glasses. Pans OK, coukd use more cooking utensils. Some food storage stuff like tupperwares needed. Really not set up to cook and eat meals as is. Very clean but no mattress pad on bed, so only a thin sheet between you and prior people who slept there. It had a comfy strap on mattress top, but that can't be washed so still need mattress pad.

Fantastic!

My dad and I really enjoyed staying in this condo. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the Telluride ski lift. Condo is perfect for a couple of people as it has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed plus a queen size pullout sofa bed in the living room. Kitchen is well-appointed with everything you'd need to make a homemade meal, too. We would not hesitate to stay again.

This place was absolutely perfect. Ski in ski out, and you can see the lift right from the kitchen windows. 10-15 min walk to all the bars/restaurants in town. Very well appointed. Highly recommend!

Great Place!

Fantastic, clean, perfect small place right on the mountain. Beautiful view from balcony and living room windows. Very quiet. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the downtown area and from the gondola. Beautiful trail by the river is right up the road from the condo. We absolutely loved our stay there.

Everything was great, the only issue was that the hot tube was not working and that was not stated in the listing off this property and the hot tube is what sold me on this property so that was a bummer. But everything else was exactly what we were looking for !

Great views and easy access to slopes

We loved the location with the hot tub right out our door. It was easy to put on your skis and head to the chairlift. We could watch out our window when the early morning line formed. Liked the location close to the gondola and center of town. We could have used the provided humidifier had we known it was in the closet. The condo was very dry. The check-in was a little confusing. I didn't realize the keypad was in the hallway for this unit and we didn't need a parking permit.

Perfect location

Loved the ski in and ski out location - very convenient! The only issue was the garage to the complex is right next to bedroom so it was annoying to hear the door open and close during the night. But other than that, we both enjoyed our stay very much!

At The Base of the Ada Lift -Hard to do better

This is a very nice location for ski season and other times of the year. The condo is ski-in-ski-out for the Ada lift. The condo is a short walk from town. The parking lot was crowded and can be hard to get a spot close to the condo at times. The condo was as advertised. The kitchen is well stocked and you can accommodate 4 people if needed with the fold out couch. I recommend this condo for all seasons. The view included the ski hill and a great view from the patio and the adjacent hot tub of the valley and mountains above town. Only small issue was we received a check in email that included a door code. We went straight to the condo and had to go into the office to get our registration packet and code. A minor inconvenience. If this size of condo fits your size and budget. Book it.

The pictures and description do not fit the location. The pictures depict a newer, cleaner location than what really is. Also -I asked for location with washer/dryer. The pictures show a stackable which is assumed to be in the house After arriving I found out that there was nothing in the house -the only way to do laundry was down in a cold basement in a coin operated set. Very very disappointed in this property!!!!

Wonderful stay

Convenient location. Nice property. Parking lot conveniently located across the street. Condo is located close to heart of Telluride for easy walking distance. Picturesque setting. Thoughtful amenities. Modern kitchen appliances. Clean. Keyless entry so better security. Two issues: middle bedroom window stays open...could not close it. We kept wondering why the bedroom was cooler than rest of condo. Due to this, all street noises were amplified. We were woken up by pedestrian chatter during the night & garbage pickup since garbage cans are located right next to condo. Second: condo is right above the main garage entry. Every time garage door opened/closed, you can hear and feel the vibration in the condo. It’s very loud and wakes you up.
