The Forget Me Not checked ALL our boxes for our 1 week stay in Tenakee Springs. Laura is the best host, she was easily accessible and answered our questions quickly and effortlessly. The house is very clean and efficient. We were 4 adults and two kids. 3 different sleeping areas upstairs gave everyone privacy. The bathroom has a small shower, full laundry, and lots of towels for all the soaking and swimming adventures. The living room has awesome views of the inlet and we did see orca whales while sitting on the couch! The kitchen is fully functional with a nice table for meals. Plenty of hooks for hanging jackets and rain pants. Filtered water for drinking is provided. The deck is partially covered with clear plastic and lounge chairs provide an excellent place to sit and watch the world go by, even if it's raining. The yard is abundant with Laura's garden in full bloom. What more can you ask for? How about a cart provided to haul your gear the 200 yards to the ferry terminal, check. The house is steps from the Tenakee Springs bathhouse which has men's and women's hours. All the soak times and more about Tenakee Springs are conveniently laid out in the informational folder provided by Laura. During our stay the new baker in town opened the Bakery right across the street, we filled up on cinnamon rolls, coffee, and she even made a pie for us! I cannot emphasize enough how much we felt at home in Laura's house. We look forward to staying there again!
