The Space:

Bedrooms (4): two with a double bed and two with twin single beds. Sleeps 8.



Bathroom: one full bathroom with bathtub, shared by the whole house; with 8 guests a little coordination in the mornings helps.



Living areas: living room with fireplace, separate dining room and a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, coffee maker, washing machine).



Gallery: the traditional glazed gallery runs along the front of the house, with sofas, a dining table and a desk for working with views over the valley.



Outside: private garden with fruit trees (fig tree included), an outdoor dining table, a barbecue and an authentic Asturian hórreo. Private outdoor parking for 2 cars, at the entrance of the house.



Families: cot, high chair and bed rails for the little ones. Heating and WiFi throughout.



Guest Access:

During your stay at Donde Alicia, you will have complete and private access to the entire centennial stone house and its surrounding grounds. Inside, you are free to enjoy the four private bedrooms, the fully equipped kitchen, the dining room, the comfortable living room, and the bright sunroom which includes a dedicated workspace. The full bathroom is also for your exclusive use. Outdoors, you have full access to the expansive garden, featuring fruit trees, a traditional Asturian horreo, and a dedicated barbecue area perfect for alfresco dining. Additionally, private outdoor parking for 2 cars is provided at the entrance of the house for a convenient stay.



The Neighborhood:

Fresnedo is a small mountain village in the council of Teverga, at the gates of Somiedo Natural Park: brown bears, glacial lakes and the Saliencia trails are 30-40 minutes by car. The house sits in total silence, with walks starting from the door. Teverga (San Martín) with supermarket, pharmacy, cider houses and the Senda del Oso bike trail is 15 minutes by car; the Prehistoric Park of Teverga and the Cueva Huerta are 20 minutes. Oviedo is about 50 minutes and the coast (Gijón, Salinas) about 1 h 15.



Getting Around:

A car is essential: the village has no public transport worth relying on. There is private outdoor parking for 2 cars at the entrance of the house.



- Teverga (San Martín): 15 min.

- Somiedo lakes (Saliencia): 40 min.

- Oviedo: 50 min.

- Asturias Airport (OVD): about 1 h.



In winter the mountain roads can have snow; check the forecast and bring chains if needed.
