« Le sol n'était pas propre, au bout de 5 minutes nous avions les pieds noirs. Le personnel est tres sympathique , les lits confortables la chambre suffisamment spacieuse Tres bruyant toute la nuit , beaucoup d'allées venues, musique forte jusqu'à trés tot le matin »

« The hotel was in a great location, spacious, clean, the staff was kind and helpful. Overall, loved our stay! »

« The room was clean but you could definitely tell that the hotel needs some upkeep. There was mildew stains on the bottom of the bathroom wall and the faucet leaked nonstop in the bathtub. The lampshade was rusted all around the bottom so it was stained. The sheets were clean and the toilet and tub and sink were all clean. Just needs some revamping »

« The room and staff were great had no problems, one thing I would say needs work is breakfast there wasnt much variety. Just waffles, toast, muffins, and cereal. No eggs, fruits, or bacon. Mostly carbs. Not very healthy. Also the room where breakfast was served was very warm. »

« Everything was great, staff, amenities, the breakfast-such a wide a variety from breakfast tacos to chia pudding. Location is perfect too! »

« Highly recommend! This is my new favorite place. It is clean, safe, relaxing with amazing rooms, great amenities, and on the Guadalupe river. Great clubhouse with a bar, space to chill that overlooks the pool. I love the hip. The partnership with Paddle Texas makes it super convenient to float the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers. It is a great place for families, friends, and events. »

« Good location for easy access to the I-35 corridor. Could hear the interstate noise, however, and although I had reserved a king bed room, they only had 2 queen bed rooms available. The room had a mildew smell, damp carpet and cracked sink. »

« The smell in the room and the floor dirty, nope thank yo, not anymore EVER. Even when I mentioned that to the nice guy in the morning at the desk he said … : oh yes they are planning to remodel, but don’t know when. Well overpriced for such room. And poor reaction from the management team. And the reception was very average . Anyway enough said I guess »

« Gruene River Hotel + Retreat is a FANTASTIC place for the complete "hotel experience." Each room is individually decorated, and it's a joy to make little discoveries in the decor that contribute to the overall theme. We've stayed in the 1776 Room, The Vineyard and Cozy Cabin, and all were fantastic. The breakfast is first rate, they serve free beer and wine for happy hour, and the property is just beautiful, with its limestone and multi-level deck where you can watch the river flow and see deer...
