„Easy to find in an ideal location off the M25 near the M11 junction. Excellent parking, very clean room and bathroom (with bath). Staff could not have been more welcoming even though they might well have preferred to be somewhere else over Christmas. Dinner on Christmas Eve and breakfast on Christmas morning were first rate“

„The staff were lovely and made me feel very welcome. There is ample free parking on site and my room exceeded my expectation, with bottled water, biscuits and tea/coffee. A comfy double bed with a TV with a selection of movies on demand and a heating unit which I was very grateful for as it was Christmas. Overall, a lovely place to stay with good people all amongst Epping forest. Will definitely stay again when I am down that way. Thank you!“

„Das Hostel liegt wunderschön im Grünen, nur zwei Minuten von der Zughaltestelle nach London. Bis man allerdings mit Zug und Tube dort ist, wo man hin möchte, vergehen 45 Minuten Minimum. Man schläft in absoluter Ruhe und hervorragender Luft. Das Personal ist super freundlich und die Rezeption verkauft Getränke, guten Kaffe und Snacks. „This pub with rooms was perfect for us as near family. The pub is very large with inside and outside areas. The bedroom & bathroom were cosy but comfortable for a couple of nights.“

„It is a nice place. Since we traveled by car, we were looking for a hotel outside of the low/ultra low emission zone of London. A 5 minutes walk to the bus and another 5 minutes later you are at the Woodford station which is part of the Center Line.“

„Fantastic hotel! Nothing to complain. As a flight crew we stay in hotels all around and this hotels is very friendly. Breakfast is good, people are friendly, surrounding area is beautiful, I even would choose this hotel for a private vacation! The only disadvantage I had, was that the room was a bit warm and I could only open the window to reduce the temperature. If you close the room the temperature goes up again very quickly. Price of the hotel is more than fair! “
