„This area is amazing! We missed the spring blooms by a week, maybe. But it was still so pretty. The property was exactly as described. Communication was slow, but I did get responses. The property was clean, but here were dead bugs, and I mean A LOT of dead bugs, on every window seal and on the floor under the windows. Lots of cobwebs too, but it didn't affect the stay. The beds were pretty comfy, there were plenty of towels. The firepit had one load of fire wood and that was it. I'd stay here ...

„Loved it all around 5 star. The people/management are super friendly. It has the master room on main level and the kids area is up the spiral stairs. It’s not big but it’s extremely cozy. I really liked it. Very nice bathroom and they have a washer and dryer you can use as well.“

„They have excellent customer service and the host is a very kind and considerate person! We couldn’t believe the price for the area! Hands down, no one even comes close to the price! If you want a great bargain and don’t need expensive frills then I highly recommend this. It’s close to beautiful hiking trails, antique shops, outdoors sporting, parks, and some towns that aren’t too far (without paying the tourist trap prices). The tv service and WiFi were a plus. „David is an incredible host! We cannot thank him enough for hosting us for a week! Everything was just as described in the listing. The rooms were comfortable and the layout was perfect for our family. David was extremely receptive to all communication and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time in Canaan. „We arrived at night to the cabin, trust the google map directions as clicked from the website. The key was in the lockbox as instructed and we were able to settle in nicely. When we woke up we were surprised to find an enormous green pasture behind the cabin with the river just behind the pasture. It was so beautiful! „This was the second time we’ve stayed here for a weekend while visiting family. It’s a great location, right in downtown Davis. The unit itself is small but clean and comfortable. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, but small, so I wouldn’t want to cook anything more than a fairly basic meal in it. Although the unit sleeps 4, I think it’s ideal for 2 people and more than that would be tight (the table seats 2 for example). We would have no hesitation in staying here again. “
