„Good location for the local county fair“

( Spinnweben usw. / unter der Badewanne war nicht richtig sauber. )“

„Hotel is not maintained well. Room is more or less clean. Only little dust. Everywhere scratches at the wall. Not working lamps. Mold in the shower as the air system is not working well in the bathroom. Restaurant is a desaster. The food is ok - nothing special. But the staff is not capable at all to manage the restaurant. Dirty tables, long waiting times, do not remember what you have ordered. And the restaurant is expensive on top. Never again.“

„It was nice stay and spacious cottage. Some stuff in kitchen was worn out and wasn’t good enough for four people. Beautiful cottage next to river.“

Foto hatte schon bessere Zeiten“

„A great location with Lovely staff:)“

„We stayed just the one night. The staff were very friendly and eager to provide good service. We enjoyed a pleasant drink on the lovely patio overlooking the river followed by a tasty meal in the bar. Breakfast was excellent . Our room was fairly basic with quite a small ensuite . The WiFi was good. We were pleased with our stay which represented good value.“

„Staff were excellent. Food was very good. Central location. Spacious room with fridge. All rooms in the hotel are up some stairs. No lift.“

„Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Weniger Verpackungsmüll beim Frühstück wäre schön. Ansonsten alles gut.“

„Friendly and helpful staff and excellent food in restaurant. Nice Lochside location. Great location for visiting the nearby Dumfries House a short drive away.“

„Unfortunately another disappointing night at the Inn. Went for a meal, again staffing issues with chefs resulting in quite a few things not being available. I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. Sadly in need of a makeover.“
