Region Tigray
Sightseeing Aksum in a Bajaj (tuk tuk) gave me the opportunity to see the countryside and how the local farmers were harvesting their crops, very manually.

While staying in Aksum, Ethiopia, we took a day trip out to the small town of Yeha, which is home to the oldest structure in Ethiopia, The Temple of the Moon, built in 700 B.C.

It is made of limestone blocks laid without mortar. It seemed in very well preserved considering its age!

While in town we visited a local family in there home. It was more of a small compound with single rooms opening up into a court yard.

This was a storage room.
