This was one of the most incredible sightings on safari in Kruger National Park. The leopard can be an elusive find, but our expert safari guide, Elvis, tracked down this beautiful creature in a tree, just as it was finishing breakfast and a bath. We stayed at Simbavati Camp George. The staff at the lodge were fantastic. The guide Alex was very knowledge and entertaining. He made efforts to teach us about wildlife and birds. Now, unless you're Liam Neeson and have 'a particular set of skills', capturing birds in flight is a task and a half for amateur photographers such as myself! However I was quite proud of this shot, especially the detail on the underside of the wings. Obviously this is a bird of prey, but I am unsure as to what it is exactly. I am hoping that the ornithologists out there may be able to help me.
