While the property offers the beautiful views promised in the listing and the host is very responsive via text, our stay was unfortunately marred by safety issues and inaccurate descriptions.Safety Issues: We visited during winter, and the steep driveway and walkway were covered in black ice. Despite contacting the host twice, no one ever came to salt or de-ice the area. This resulted in my mother-in-law falling on the walkway. The driveway was also unusable for our vehicle due to the ice. Listing Inaccuracies: The property is advertised as having more bathrooms than it actually does. There are only 2 full baths (upper level) and one half-bath (main level). The "bath" in the basement is a wooden cabin styled bathroom in an unheated area with no photos provided; it was unusable in the winter. For a party of 10, this was a significant issue.Cleanliness & Amenities: The house was not thoroughly cleaned. Upon arrival, there were only two towels available. The host informed us the next day that the rest were in the dryer, which we then had to fold ourselves for our entire group.Overall, the lack of maintenance and the misleading description of facilities made for a stressful stay. I would not recommend this property for large groups or winter visits until these issues are addressed.
