This hotel had some lovely highlights, but it also missed the mark in a few key areas.
First, letâs talk about the good stuff. The staff were absolutely lovelyâwarm, accommodating, and always ready to help. Upon arrival, we were treated to an incredible cheesecake and green tea, which was such a thoughtful touch. Evenings were made special with roasted marshmallows by the fire, a charming and cosy experience that we really enjoyed. Plus, the hotel offers free parking, which is always a win.
Breakfast was a full Japanese spread, beautifully presented and deliciousâa definite highlight. That said, it felt a bit repetitive, and I donât think Iâd enjoy having the same meal every day.
On the downside, the beds werenât the most comfortable, and overall, the experience didnât feel quite up to the standard Iâd hoped for. While there were definitely memorable moments, I donât think Iâd choose to stay here again.
Itâs a hotel with potential and some great perks, but for me, it didnât quite tick all the boxes.
