This is a great property. The location is ideal…1 stop from Shinjuku, 4 from Shibuya on the Yamanote line. Sean is a great host…incredibly responsive and communicative. There are two things I wish I’d known before booking. I probably would have booked anyway but a consideration. This is a first floor/basement apartment. That’s great when you’re hauling luggage but less great when the bedroom window (directly above the bed) faces the street. It’s a fairly quiet street but on a Saturday night it was a bit noisy. Second, the toilet is on the floor with the bathroom but the bath and sink are downstairs. This proved inconvenient from time to time. All in all, though, a great stay and well worth the price.
