« Nature at its best..Saw so many kangaroos (mostly kids) playing near our cottage in the grapevines and enjoyed ravishing sunset from the property. Absolutely quiet and peaceful with almost no disturbance. Can’t expect any better. »

« We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future. »

« What a wonderful property. Everything you need is provided. From various milks when you arrive to detailed instructions on everything. A folder provided with maps and info on shops, restaurants & things to do. Guy & Josie have provided a charming, comfortable apartment, easy check-in, great communication. Top class stay. « Better signage would be good, maybe a dish drainer for after washing dishes,we had a little trouble navigating tv channels but not life threatening otherwise a quite cosy stay »

« We were very pleased with the property. A couple of suggestions for the owner to improve the property is perhaps some fly screens on the bedroom for overnight ventilation and an extractor fan in the bathroom/toilet area. Great location being in walking distance of Stirling with great cafes and hotel. Close to all the delights of Mt Lofty/Crafers ranges. »

« Very clean renovated space with separate entrance. All facilities provided. Slight downside, the beautiful gum tree was dropping blossom all over the car, but Adel gave us hose to wash it off. »

« Despite our difficulty accessing the internet to be able to get into the apartment, once we had reconnected to the internet and followed instructions, we were delighted with the apartment. It was large enough, well laid out and very easy to access. And, having somewhere to park our vehicle, was great. The surrounds were delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed dining out for our evening meal and breakfast. »

« We usually stay in the city of Adelaide when visiting, however needed to be close to Burnside hospital this time…. I’m sooo pleased we found this accommodation. It surpassed my expectations, although it was everything it said it was on the website. Furniture was very comfortable, clean and all round great! We couldn’t believe how quiet and peaceful it was. A short 5 minute walk to a gorgeous cafe, if you didn’t want to make your own coffee using the facilities provided. We will definitely make...
