We stayed at the villa at the start of the season as a family of four adults and four children, including two young babies. From the photos we expected a somewhat dated property, but unfortunately the issues went far beyond that. The positives are that the villa is very spacious, with a large outdoor area, a good-sized pool, reliable WiFi, and cold air conditioning where it worked. However, the cleanliness was extremely poor. On arrival the floors were dirty, kitchen walls and tiles were splashed with dried food, the sink was filthy, mirrors and windows were smeared, and there was dust throughout, including around beds and furniture. The bed linen and cushions were stained and worn and clearly need replacing. Although we received half the cleaning fee back, we would much rather have stayed in a properly cleaned villa. There were also several other issues, a kettle unusable due to limescale (replaced on day one), and air conditioning not working in one bedroom, which required contacting the key holder. This meant we were constantly reporting problems instead of relaxing. The outdoor area was also poorly maintained, with cracked tiles, mouldy sun loungers, torn and dirty cushions, and an unusable pergola with no cover. Despite following instructions to dispose of rubbish daily, we had ongoing ant problems and found a cockroach in the kitchen on our second-to-last day, which was extremely upsetting, especially with babies. This villa has potential but is currently very unkept.
