„Looking for a cozy getaway in the woods , The Country did not disappoint. It was a stormy weekend which turned the already beautiful scenic area into a winter wonderland. Stayed cozy all weekend next to the fireplace, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, playing games & reading books. Looking forward to booking again soon and enjoying all that The country has to offer outside of the cabin. „Million dollar view was hampered by tall trees. Very deceiving. No closets, hangers, hooks or drawers (already full), to store our clothing. No practical hooks in the bathroom. Miniscule counter space in bathroom (a shelf would be welcomed). With the window in the main bedroom facing the road we were disturbed early in the morning (6am) by traffic noise (trucks, trailers, quads, etc.). Mattress sagged considerably in the middle.“

„We all enjoyed the amazing location and spectacular views from the back deck overlooking a range of islands. Only about an hour from St. John's (at most), we felt far away and visited many trails, sites such as Ferryland, and family who still live in the area. The outdoor hot tub was an extra treat.“
