From here, step out onto the expansive balcony, which overlooks the stunning garden and provides distant sea views. The elevated position offers a wonderful sense of space and tranquillity, making it the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening sunsets. The balcony is a great place for entertaining, children can run free around the garden below, beware a stream runs alongside the garden so not suitable for unsupervised children.

On the lower ground floor, the property continues to impress with an additional shower room, a fun and versatile games room, and a practical utility room. Nearby, you’ll find a variety of stunning beaches to explore, including Pendower Beach, Gorran Haven, and Towan Beach. The village itself has two welcoming pubs if you prefer to dine out, while the nearest village store can be found in Veryan, just a mile away.

The renowned Southwest Coast Path passes directly through Portloe, making it a haven for walkers and nature lovers. The area’s mild climate supports a rich variety of wildlife and diverse flora, and there are many beautiful country houses and gardens nearby to explore. Among the most popular is the Lost Gardens of Heligan, one of the UK’s most celebrated botanical gardens, where you can wander through over 80 acres of enchanting grounds. There are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs at the property.

To make your arrival as smooth as possible, please use the upper door (shown in the photo's) to access the property, especially when carrying luggage. This level brings you directly into the main living area and makes it much easier to take your luggage straight to the bedrooms. While there is a lower door next tot the double garage for quick access, please be aware that the stairs there are very steep.
