Welcome to Combara, a stylish and spacious beach house in the beautiful Cornish village of Portscatho, directly opposite Porthcurnick Beach and enjoying wonderful sea views across Gerrans Bay.

With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private hot tub, enclosed south-facing garden and parking for three cars, Combara is a fantastic base for families and groups of friends looking to enjoy this special part of the Roseland Peninsula.

Step outside the front door and Porthcurnick Beach is just across the road. Follow the coast path and you'll find the renowned Hidden Hut overlooking the beach, while Portscatho's harbour, shops, cafés and pubs are within easy reach.

The house

At the heart of Combara is a striking open-plan living and dining space with a full-height ceiling, creating a wonderfully light and sociable place for everyone to relax together. Large windows make the most of the coastal setting and sea views.

The modern, well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for relaxed breakfasts, family dinners or evenings entertaining at home.

Combara sleeps up to eight guests across four comfortable bedrooms.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms, including the master bedroom with sea views and direct access to the luxury bathroom.

On the ground floor are a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom with two single beds, making the house particularly well suited to families and multi-generational groups.

Bathrooms

The luxurious upstairs bathroom features a deep bath and separate walk-in shower. It has dual access directly from the master bedroom as well as from the hallway.

Downstairs is a stylish second bathroom featuring a beautiful freestanding roll-top bath.

Garden & hot tub

To the rear of the house is an enclosed, south-facing garden where you can relax, eat outside and enjoy the sea air.

The private hot tub is perfect after a day at the beach or walking the coast path, while the raised deck provides another lovely place to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings.

The enclosed garden also makes Combara a great choice for families and guests bringing a dog.

An exceptional location

One of Combara's greatest features is its location. Porthcurnick Beach is directly opposite the house, so there's no need to load up the car for a day beside the sea – simply walk across the road.

The South West Coast Path is on the doorstep, with beautiful walks in either direction, and the much-loved Hidden Hut is just along the coast at Porthcurnick Beach.

Portscatho itself is a charming traditional Cornish coastal village with its picturesque harbour, cafés, pubs, galleries and local shops.

Whether you're planning beach days, coastal walks, family meals, evenings in the hot tub or simply relaxing and watching the sea, Combara provides a wonderful base for exploring the Roseland Peninsula.
