« The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! « Great hotel! It's located around 10 minutes from the city center by foot, so you can do everything walking. A great plus is the personnel - everyone was really helpful and nice, ready to help whenever needed. Last but not least, the bedrooms were amazing!!! The beds are very confortable and big, the room is spacious and everything was very clean. And we can’t not mention the private onsens inside the hotel. They are available for the guests, and they are great. We Reallyv recommend this hotel! »

« The room was really spacious with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was included but dinner we ate out as the hotel is large and they can't accommodate everybody. This was not a problem as there were so many restaurants in town. You do need to time the shuttle bus well though. Overall, a brilliant place to visit and really worth the money. »

« Good location central to the Shiga Kogen ski fields. Down a driveway and across the road to the lifts. Excellent service, the team were exceptional. Food was good and the lounge area around the fireplace was a great spot to relax after a long day. The hotel itself like many in the area is in need of an update but was perfect for us. »

« Très bon séjour avec une qualité de service remarquable. Le personnel se plie en quatre pour aider au séjour (babysitting, activités, ...). À noter que les restaurants présents dans le complexe hotelier sont aussi variés et très bons. »
