All in all, a nice property. There were dead bugs in the bathrooms and hallway, but once swept up, we didn’t have any more issues. The hot tub did not work, and had not in a while. The property manager was very responsive to my call and had the tub up and running the day of the call.

Beautiful Home with Excellent Outdoor Living and Entertaining Space

Our family of 4 stayed at Sabino Velo and felt right at home in this beautiful large ranch style house. It has an incredible backyard with a small but lovely pool, a hot tub we enjoyed on early cool mornings, a fire pit, large outdoor dining table, grill and quality outdoor furniture (something many vacation homes skimp on) that made spending time outside very enjoyable. The thoughtful backyard landscaping provided nice shaded areas and we got to enjoy the large Pale Verde Tree that was in full bloom with yellow blossoms and regular humming bird visitors. Inside, the home's open kitchen and living area with ample seating allowed us to host our Tucson based family for nightly dinners and conversation--easily accommodating everyone at the large outdoor dinning table. The bedrooms were all nicely decorated with good storage and closets. Bedding, pillows and mattresses were fine but not as high quality as the rest of the home furnishings. However the ceiling fans in each bedroom, ample space in the mud/laundry room, a desk for remote work, and a clean large garage were all bonus elements. The local property mgmt was responsive when we call about a hot tub issue and a friendly and prompt dishwasher repairman came and went one morning with minimal interruption. Finally, the house location was wonderful--close to Sabina canyon with a Safeway and Walgreens less 5 minutes away. Overall this was a great vacation house and we would definitely return!

Really comfortable house

The pictures, I thought, made the house seem much more luxurious and spacious so my initial reaction was uh-oh, but the house is very comfortable with a great backyard and we really enjoyed the property and time there (6 days). I was a little annoyed at the punitive nature (20/hr) of early or late check-in, check-out but we managed. Tucson in February is perfect for those of us that live in CT.

Anniversary

The home was good. Communication with Host not so much. Found a pop top in the hot tub that hubby step on. Hot tub was 23 days past emptying and refilling. Expressed this to host in email and never heard from him

Wedding event

This property was beautiful. We had a small (17person) wedding reception here. We were a little thrown off when the chairs were not what we hoped for the purpose of the wedding. We had a great stay. The manager was quick to respond with questions concerns. There were three large cockroaches found inside the property as well. Which I was just told “we’ll send an exterminator”.

Clean and quite location

Great stay in Tucson

The property worked really well with our family (3 generations). We like to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. Had a slight problem with the outdoor grill, but the owner was super responsive and had it fixed in no time. The pool and hot tub were awesome! The outdoor sound system contributed to the overall vibe and made for a relaxing, enjoyable experience. The decor and artwork are top notch. Would definitely go back the next time we’re in Tucson!

Great vacation rental

Our family including 2 teenagers enjoyed our vacation at this lovely Tucson house. Property description and pictures are accurate. Very clean, spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable beds & furnishings. Could easily accommodate large family or group. Large yard, pool is small but clean (one of very few rentals in the area that doesn't pre-charge to heat the pool for your entire stay) Hot tub works well. Close to grocery store, restaurants and hiking trails. Good location for exploring the Tucson area. Property manager is quick to respond to any issues. Great rental 5/5

Great venue for a get together with family and friends

The property is nestled in the foothills of the Catalina mountains with isolation from any main roads and the neighbors. Plenty of outdoor space with a heated pool and hot tub, and plenty of indoor space for hosting a large dinner. My wife and I held a vow ceremony and reception here and it was the perfect venue for the occasion. The management staff allow events and are very flexible with the place. They are also very responsive to inquiry via the VRBO messenger.

Tucson getaway

Loved the property for the most part and would book it again. For the cost though i didn't think we should have to clean all the funiture, tables etc outside. They hadn't been wiped of dirt for a long time. Inside of house was great and clean. Also gave a short list of things that should be addressed on the inside of property. These people will take care of it im sure.

Perfect in every way!

I held my ring ceremony and reception for my wedding at the house and it was amazing. The back yard space is beautiful and spacious. The house was the perfect size and was very accommodating. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Great place!

My siblings and I just spent an early Thanksgiving with our 87-year-old mom who lives in Tucson. Sabina Velo was beautiful, with classy decor and a great layout. The 4 of us had our own rooms and my brother was able to bring his dog. We thought the place was well-stocked, in a convenient location (and only 7 minutes from my mom's house), and had lots of comfortable seating areas, inside and out. The beds were comfortable, and the house was very clean. The pool wasn't heating higher than 68 degrees, but after contacting the manager, a pool repairman came the same day. We were able to enjoy the pool for the rest of our 4-day stay, though 80 degrees for us was a little on the cool side unless it was over 90. I appreciated the quick response. My one regret was that we bought wood for the fire pit but never got around to hanging out there at night; I hope the next guests can enjoy it.

Beautiful property!

Large, comfortable property as shown in listing. Spacious living space and bedrooms. Backyard slightly smaller than appears in photos but still a large backyard with privacy. Pool clean and enjoyable. Kitchen well stocked. Coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, cooking utensils. Have a Sonos music system you can log in to which is cool. There's also a printer if you need one. Master bed comfortable and we like having the ceiling fan. Very quiet neighborhood. Didn't get a response to a question prior to our arrival that would have been helpful. Great for small parties! Really lovely space. Would rent again!

Amazing property and location

This was our temporary home for 2 weeks after relocating to Tucson. The property was clean, nicely updated, well-stocked, and had an amazing pool and backyard to enjoy. The location was perfect for us and would highly recommend! The owners were very responsive to the silly questions I had. We were able to have family over for lunch/dinner without fear of being charged extra like some other rental properties. Once again, would highly recommend!
