„My family stayed here for a short weekend. Upon arrival it looked like it had been cleaned however there was hair in both showers, an odd smell in the living room and the rug in the living room looked like it had never been vacuumed. While the cleanliness was off putting, the comfort was worse. The couch was also not clean and the beds were broken, lopsided and extremely uncomfortable. This place needs a one time deep clean, new caulk where there is mold, and new beds/couch and it would be fine. ...

„This was an awesome basecamp for exploring Yosemite. It feels private and wooded but is close to restaurants and shops in Groveland. We didn't get a chance to swim in the nearby lake, but it looks like it would have been great on a warmer weekend. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and cozying up by the fireplace on a rainy evening. Having laundry was a huge plus after long hiking days.“

The challet is in a great location, less than an hour from Yosemite valley, Hetch Hetchy dam or Sonora, but in a very quite location at the end of a road. You can get there easily, just go to the end of paved Hells Hollow road and then keep straight on the dirt road until you reach 2111 and the gate. „Fantastic stay. 5 nice, clean rooms. Love that the host is so responsive. We asked about outdoor seating cushions and they very quickly responded and got them to us. Love the location and proximity to Twain Harte. We walked to town every day and it was beautiful. We will likely book this stay again. “
