« Cozy, clean and quiet. The lake is absolutely gorgeous. Clear sandy bottom and shallow along the shoreline. We enjoyed kayaking and even caught a few sunnies! We made most of our meals at the cabin but did venture out to Riley's Cannibal Junction for a couple of awesome burgers and a quick stop at Hayslips Corner just down the road. « Perfect location for those looking to xx ski and fish. Miles of groomed trails nearby and unlimited back country skiing via the lake and Chippewa National Forest. We loved how quiet the lake was. No human activity other than our group. The dogs had a blast exploring the national forest and its critters. Fishing was fantastic. « We truly enjoyed our stay at the Julian Cabins. Judy, the host, was welcoming and gave us a lot of information both in the notebook in the cabin and our chats. We stayed in the Thieves Den cabin which is lakeside with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed. Our 2 adult children joined us for a few days and slept in the bunk beds - they loved it - brought back childhood memories! My sister rented the cabin behind us, the Kingfisher.
