„Extremely clean, beautiful home, well appointed. Hot tub was fantastic. The area by the lake is amazing! The hosts were accommodating and kept in touch to see if we needed anything. Close to everything you would want to see (day trips) but far enough outside of the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend!“

„Beau sejour en famille (3), belle place tranquille , 20 min de.Sandbanks , propreté bien , par contre pour la cuisine il manquait quelque trucs ( bouilloire plat pour le four , couteau qui coupe ) et notre matelas était pas mal mou mais celui de ma fille très bien. Belle endroit je recommande.“

„Everything was good except for the wifi & internet connection which meant the TV, Netflix, prime etc did not work or our computers! This was a big issue because my husband and my mother had work to do and we had to use our cellular data! Shane came by Saturday morning to check but did not know what the problem was. Said he would check with owner but we never heard back! We went to celebrate by uncle’s 90th birthday so the house was a nice place for everyone to be together but again no wifi or ...

The Waring House

8/10 Gut

"Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb von Picton, zu den Sandbanks sind es ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto, was absolut ok ist. Die Anlage verfügt über einen schönen Park, ein nettes Restaurant mit gutem Frühstück und einem Pub, in dem Abends verschiedene Künstler aufgetreten sind. Leider hat die Küche abends schon um 20:30 Uhr geschlossen. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich, allerdings roch es etwas unangenehm, was ggf. auf den Teppich, der schon viele Gäste gesehen hat, zurück zu führen ist. Es könnte aber auch an der veralteten Klimaanlage gelegen haben. Das Bett war sehr bequem und wir konnten gut schlafen. Das Waschbecken befand sich unter einer Schrägen, für Menschen, die größer sind als 1,85 m etwas schwierig 😉…für unsere Größe aber kein Problem. Das Frühstück und der Service waren gut, für jeden Gast wurde nach Wunsch eine warme Speise frisch zubereitet. Alles in allem können wir die Unterkunft empfehlen. "
