We loved everything about this house. What a labor of love put in by the owner. The house is about 15 miles away from the tourist trap known as Wisconsin Dells, but seems a world away. What a wonderful place to 'get away from it all'.

This property is well appointed and beautifully decorated with spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, very clean bathrooms and kitchen, spacious dining area and cozy livingroom. Plenty of outdoor space as well. Host, Jacqui, and family put a ton of elbow grease into the renovation of this vintage farmhouse and it is amazing. It's close to the Dells and Baraboo's many wineries. A perfect place for a girl's weekend getaway.

What a wonderful home. All four of us were immensely impressed with it. Located in a lovely country setting with such scenic views. We decided this was the best VRBO rental we all had the pleasure to enjoy. It was very well stocked, above what we expected. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well renovated. Only a short drive to the Wisconsin Dells area, we were able to enjoy our get together knowing we had a quiet home base to settle into after a couple of days of doing the "tourist" thing in the Dells. Sunrise viewing over the valley, while enjoying a quiet morning watching deer in the field, was a wonderful way to start my day. Highly recommend.

Beautiful land and home

Loved this house. We had all the comforts of home and then some! The home and how they shared the history of the home and family was perfect. Sitting by a fire every evening, watching the stars and listening to the coyotes, was just the break we needed. Close to Wisconsin Dells but far enough to relax and unwind. Perfect place to stay and we can’t wait to go back!

The moment we drove up, it was just so beautiful. The view, we just couldnt get enough of. The kids had a great time outside with the activities you had. We ll def stay out there again when we plan a wisconsin dells vacation again!

Amazing Farmhouse Getaway

My family and I had an amazing stay at Hilliard Haven. Like others have stated, the owners did an incredible job restoring this farmhouse. The property is amazing with so many fun things to do. This house was the most well stocked house our family has ever stayed in. You do not need to bring any extras of your own. We celebrated our daughter's big double digit birthday here with close family. She told us this was the most awesome place to celebrate her big day. The property was beautiful for a photo shoot as well. It is relatively close to the Dells and major attractions. Our family would 100% stay here again in the future. Thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful family farmhouse so that other families can create lasting memories of their own.

Considerate rental

We had a lovely time at what I consider to be the most considerate vacation rental I have visited! Our family enjoyed the beautiful farm, the thoughtful stocking of the kitchen, bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and a great space to spend time together.

Wisconsin Dells Family Fun Trip 2024

We couldn't have been more pleased with the property and surrounding, we would recommend staying here at Hillard Haven anytime. The only thing you would need to pack is your clothing and food...the property was completely furnished....more items than you would need. Appliances, linens, kitchen utensils, toys, games, bikes, outside games, more things that you can do in a week..what a GREAT find!!! Outside Grill, benches, chairs, tables, loungers, fire ring with chairs and plenty of firewood, hiking trails....Loved it and we'll be back!!!

Best VRBO ever!!!!!!

We stayed at Hilliard Haven for a family wedding weekend. We were "wowed" by the homey feel of a Vacation Rental home. The views are amazing! there is not one detail that was not thought of when you stay here. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO's and this one is so homey, so well prepared for your visit you feel like you are at home! I could vacation right there at that location!!!!!

Plenty to do at this farm house!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilliard Haven! The house was super clean and had a great set up for our group of 9. They had everything you would need to entertain a large family for a few days! Plenty of towels/blankets/kitchen utensils/plates/glassware. We had fun at the family table for dinner and card games and the living room had plenty of space for us to gather and watch tv. They had a wii with a bunch of games too, but we never got the chance to bust it out. There was a football table and pinging in the garage, a sand volleyball court and a basketball hoop too. We walked 1/2 a mile down the trail too to check out the creek at the back of the property. There was a propane grill and a great fire pit outside as well that we enjoyed using. The host Jacqui was really great too. Very friendly and communicative with us the entire trip. All of us really liked the quietness of being out of town from the Dells but it was still only a short trip to get to everything in town. This was a great experience for us all and we thoroughly enjoyed this house!

Ladies' weekend away

We were looking for somewhere central to everyone, and we stumbled on this gem. While we didn't do much in the area, there are a few things that would be fun with a group during the tourist season (winery, lakes). The house is very private, and we enjoyed sitting in the sun room with the windows open for the breeze. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The house was a lovely mix of updated but keeping the farmhouse feel. Overall lovely stay!
