Great location of the cottage. The porch was great in the morning for coffee. If oyu forgot anything as far as toiletry it was there for you.

Quick getaway

We had a blast on our three night getaway in Sylvan Beach! Rick was nearby and available daily with any questions we had. He gave helpful tips of a quiet beach which was a short bike ride away. Looking forward to returning soon! The house was adorable and had everything we could need!

Nice vacay

The owner had all you need for a comfortable stay. The property was clean and there were many extras to add to the experience including bikes for use, games and a fire pit. Area activities are close by but the location is not busy providing a more quiet morning coffee on the deck and more safety for younger ones. The owner was available if there were concerns thiugh we did not have any.

We had a great stay!

House was very clean & well stocked with towels, linens, etc. The only negative was there was no place for clothes on hangers. Also, the walk was farther from the house than 2 blocks, more like 3-4 blocks (only an issue if you use a cane) and totally fine for the kids.The kids loved having use of all of the bikes. Plenty of firewood provided. Plenty of parking. Rick was very responsive.

Family friendly, convenient and comfortable

Ricky's place is super comfortable and if you have family with little ones, this is the place to bring them. There were many added extras as Ricky has thought of everything. I certainly never expected the range of fun toys and a package of diapers, yet all of these were available and more. We are definitely considering future stays.

Very accommodating!

Very accommodating! The only things we really needed to bring were our clothes and food. Otherwise, everything was right there for us. We would definitely recommend this place for a family!

Excellent spot and great host!

Although we had a scheduling hiccup the first night, Rick took care of us immediately without an issues. The place was stocked with everything you could need. Cleanliness overall was excellent, the rooms were more than big enough and the location was great to get to the beach. Rick has bikes there for all ages to get to and from the beach if you don't want to drive and pay for parking. 100% recommend to families with little ones as the water isn't deep and the amusement park a d verona state park have everything to keep kids happy!!!!!

Great stay for family vacation visit

It was a very nice stay for my family. The owners were very accommodating and were making sure we had what we needed. Everything is available at the property but food and drink. Nice outdoor area. Very close to the lake. If you bring a mobile toddler you will need to be very watchful and put some stuff up out of sight or reach. Rooms are a bit smaller than the pictures present but still comfortable. Front porch and back deck are nice sitting areas. BBQ grills and fire pit were nice. Overall would highly recommend for a stay.

BEST HOST EVER!!They thought of everything!!

Honestly- they thought of everything!! Anything u could have possibly forgotten to pack- they already have it there! The home was clean- spacious bathroom-thick nice towels,comfortable bedding-spacious living and dining room! Quality furniture that is sturdy! Nicely decorated! Definitely had a woman's touch! Every kitchen appliance and utensils that u could think of! Even had really nice dishes- and a quantity to feed a family! They even had paper plates and plastic utensils- just in case u don't want to wash dishes! They had toys for the kids-games for the family- but even better they had choices of about 20+ nice condition bikes for all ages old and young toddlers- they even had the red wagon!! A nice grill to cook breakfast on the patio- an additional propane grill in its own cabana-plenty of firewood for the fireplace! Eating tables and chairs in the front and the back patios! The pictures do it no justice! The popcorn maker was a very nice touch-great for movie time! Even had a cotton candy machine!! House has its own park play area! A place to create great memories! 2 blocks from the beach! You can't ask for more!!The host was very responsive and accommodating! He even brought an electric scooter over for my Great Aunt- honestly the Best host!Great place to make memories! I will always be glad to book with this host! Next trip I'm hoping to get the house next door from the host and have my family rent this house so they can experience it too!! I can't say enough great things!

Great 3Day Layover for our NY vacation

A true home away from home. Very clean, well prepped for any traveler. The host met our party on arrival day and gave us some good information for our stay. The house had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. There were 5 of us & we all had room to be comfortable. The location was in a nice family neighborhood & we all mentioned how perfect it would be for a multi-generational vacation in the future. The bicycles were a great plus for getting to town/beach. We even walked one morning & it was an easy walk. We enjoyed the back yard & grills every evening. The host had dry firewood ready for evening fires in the pit. Our group had an awesome stay!
