Fabulous apt!

Where to begin! This was the most cozy, comfortable, beautifully decorated apartment we have stayed in. The pictures and description are great but seeing it in person is even better. From the moment we walked in we immediately knew we were “home” for the next 11 days in Uzes. We were greeted by Anne who is wonderful. She explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. And was very responsive when we had a question. There wasbooklet with information about Uzes. Most importantly there were instructions In English on how to use every appliance! So helpful. The apartment is fully equipped! A complete professional kitchen, lovely modern bathroom with a magnifying mirror and a professional hair dryer which I SO appreciated. Washer! Love being able to keep up on laundry.M/BD has a beautiful veranda/sitting room complete with a toaster, tea kettle and dishes to have your morning coffee or tea and look out at the beautiful trees and if not too hot you can open the gorgeous sliding windows and listen to the birds. The master has A large walk in closet with plenty of hangers & shelf space. There is a Sonos speaker easy to connect for musicwe loved listening to jazz over our coffee and fresh croissant from the boulangerie across the streetThe apt is on the Main Street in Uzes which is hustling during the day especially market days. We walked everywhere! Just the perfect location and Cecile is the perfect host! We will definitely be backCris & Janis 6/2025

Perfect apartment, perfect village

The historic village of UzĂšs has many beautiful things to see. CĂ©cile’s apartment on Boulevard Gambetta is one of them. We have been in dozens of French rental accommodations over the last ten years and very rarely do we say, “When we come back we are staying here”. The apartment is perfectly located near the center of UzĂšs, Le Place des Herbes, a great boulangerie is right across the street and there was easy access to everything we needed for our two week stay. The apartment itself is the best equipped we have ever seen. Not just the modern kitchen, which had everything, but every little amenity a couple would need was there. Lots of room to move around in, too. A big living area, good-sized bedroom and bed with a walk-in closet, enclosed veranda off of the bedroom and, importantly, lots of good lighting. My wife especially appreciated the excellent lighting in the bathroom for applying make-up. CĂ©cile was the most attentive hostess and helped us with whatever we needed. Thank you, CĂ©cile, for a very comfortable stay. UzĂšs is a charming village. Nice people, lots of fun places to eat and a vibrant town center, Place des Herbes, which has the best market day of any French village we’ve visited. Free parking was close and we always found a spot. We highly recommend this lovely apartment in UzĂšs.

Wonderful 2 weeks in Uzes! Best location, location, location!

Fabulous apartment!

We had a wonder stay in this newly updated, clean and very comfortable apartment. The kitchen was complete for cooking at home, plenty of closet and storage space, and multiple sitting areas with beautiful views. The owner, Cecile, was so accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. Anne, the concierge, was waiting for us upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know. The central location was perfect for us with a balcony to overlook all the action, plus providing a short walk to the markets, cafes, and main square. We highly recommend staying here.

A great stay

This apartment was a cut above others due to its beautiful decoration and obvious care and attention to detail. We felt lucky to be staying here - it had such a lovely feel. Two things to note if you are considering booking: there are steep circular steps to access the apartment and there is some road noise as you are in the middle of town. However, being located centrally, meant all the amenities of UzĂšs were simple to access and wow what a beautiful historic town this is! The apartment was extremely comfortable - aircon, furnishings, cooking facilities, etc - it made our holiday. Thanks so much to CĂ©cile and Anne. I would highly recommend.

Love at first sight!

This flat was the best part of my eight week stay in France. It was so welcoming and beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and many extras. The ambience, a mix of medieval and modern, was enhanced by all the loving details. My concierge was waiting there to greet me and answer questions when I arrived and any time I needed help. I loved the balcony overlooking the street, shaded by enormous trees. On market day I could watch the vendors setting up their stalls below. And the veranda! So bright and perfect for a relaxing with a book, or sketching. A great location and a lovely place I would recommend to anyone who wants to feel welcome and really experience the spirit of UzĂšs.

Magic Uzes

Our apartment was fantastic. Perfect location. It had an extra patio that was private looking over trees. Such a bonus. The stair access was difficult for me as I did not realise it was a concrete spiral. However it was worth it when I got up the stairs. Yes I would stay there again. Uzes is my favourite town in France with stunning markets.

Beautifully decorated and restored apartment. Suitable for 4 adults. Owner and property manager very helpful and good communication. Stayed in Uzes 3 other times this may be our favorite rental.

Nous avons passĂ© un sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able avec notre fille de 7ans, dans cet appartement dĂ©corĂ© avec beaucoup de goĂ»t. Nous Ă©tions ici pour NoĂ«l, et nous avons aussi apprĂ©ciĂ© les dĂ©corations de NoĂ«l laissĂ©es par CĂ©cile, merci ! Appartement idĂ©alement situĂ© Ă  UzĂšs et proche de tout Ă  pied ; Grand parking payant Ă  1 minute Ă  pied. Concernant les Ă©quipements rien ne manque, bien au contraire ! La chambre bureau cotĂ© rue est perturbĂ©e par le lĂ©ger bruit de quelques voitures, sans doute un peu plus en Ă©té  mais rien de trop dĂ©rangeant. Nous reviendrons probablement dans cette location, notre entourage est aussi intĂ©ressĂ©.

Gorgeous, clean, beautifully decorated apartment in a perfect location in UzĂšs, even in front of one of the best bakery in town! Great interactions with CĂ©cile, who made sure we weren't missing anything and warmly welcomed us in her apartment. We could enjoy the local fair (fĂȘte votive) from the balcony! Would love to go back again!
