Great Vancouver hideout

We rented this great property to "hide" from our kids and take a much needed break from parenting. The space was wonderful and comfy to hangout in. We binged a ton of tv and movies. The hot tub was great for soaking in after walking every where. And there's a ton to walk to. We never drove our car the whole time we stayed here. The owners were friendly and easy to access!

We had a great stay. Alison was always quick to answer our messages. The place was clean and supplied with the basic necessities: towels, soap, sheets and blanket, etc. The appliances were new and awesome: ceiling fans, oven/stove/microwave, keurig, washer and dryer, adjustable bed. The hot tub was a nice perk! It's a great backyard space that is shared with the hosts and their lovely dog Timber. I really enjoyed sitting on the chairs outside and reading. All in all, couldn't ask for a better experience at the price we paid.

Best of Vancouver!

We had the most amazing experience staying here during our visit to Vancouver. Josh and Alison were wonderful hosts. They were very warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience and we definitely did! The suite had just been updated and was cozy and prestine. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Vancouver!

Fantastic Remodel!

We were surprised with a heavily upgraded room! A full kitchen, bigger bed with adjustable frame, and a rain shower head! Brand new remodel! Great neighborhood with a greenway and fantastic restaurants nearby. They provided small amounts of dairy and eggs which saved us a trip to the store. Hottub was big and enjoyable!

The accomodation was very nice. We made good use of the nearby walking trails and public transportation. Lonsdale Quay, Capilano Swinging Bridge and BC Place were all easy to reach. The hosts were generous with the shared common areas.

Cottage in the city

I came in late and Josh waited up to make sure I made it and showed me around so I could find everything. Such a wonderful couple. So attentive knowing that I was there for medical appointments they checked in on me and we had amazing conversations during my stay. Beautiful neighborhood

This was our first share the kitchen stay. It was perfect. Great hosts, lovely hot tub, lots of private space, spotless house. All in a private quiet neighborhood with a walking, biking trail right our the front door. Host have thought of everything: grocery bags for shopping, laundry bag, desk, comfy couch and great TV and so friendly.

Alison and Josh made us feel like home during our 3 day stay at their cozy cottage on the shore. Everything was super clean, organized and easily accessible. They provided us with very useful information about the best places to visit in Vancouver. We also enjoyed very much their hot tub and the coffees we made from their coffee machine. The cottage is located in a quite neighbourhood with easy access to Vancouver downtown, and the bed and pillows were perfect for sleeping comfortably. We highly recommend this cottage for your stay in Vancouver.

Ali and Josh are the best host anyone can ask for. They are super friendly and we’re constantly making sure we were good. Everything was clean. They provided all the basic necessities. Their dog Timber is such a beautiful and well behaved. We feel in love with him. There is a Walmart about 10-15 walking distance and a few restaurants as well. Beautiful neighborhood and clean. You can walk to downtown North Vancouver in 40 minutes. Highly recommend because it’s a beautiful path or you can bike. You can also bike or walk to Capilano Suspension Bridge.

Amazing place and people

We had an amazing short stay with Josh and Alison. They were welcoming and made us feel at home and at ease. The house was amazing and even better was the views from the hot tub. We made some friends both human and animal in Josh, Allison, Timber the Rottweiller and a few squirrels. We will be back next year for sure!

5 Star Hotel

Fluffy white towels, white cotton robes and slippers, beach towels for an amazing, therapeutic hot tub/spa, a basket of amenities with lotions, a sewing kit, mouthwash, ect. A wonderful hot shower with aromatherapy bath wash, shampoo and cream rinse. An amazing coffee machine in the main kitchen that brews fantastic coffee to order. Then throw in some kind, hospitable, friendly, and helpful hosts and we think that definitely adds up to 5+ stars!! It’s a perfect location just over the Lions bridge so you’re very close to downtown Vancouver but away from the crowds. A beautiful bike/walk path right across from the house so no neighbors to the front so extra quiet and private. Josh and Alison are the perfect hosts, relaxed and open but respectful of privacy. Josh built a beautiful fire in the living room every evening and he and Alison made us feel welcome to enjoy the warmth and ambiance. Their house is perfect to hop over the bridge to Vancouver and Stanley Park or head up scenic Highway 99 all the way to Whistler. We had a fantastic stay and would love to stay with them again.
