Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in, Kommunikation und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
A lovely maisonette in the Arsenale/Castello area of Venice. Arsenale or Celestia vaporetto stops are your closest. Quiet area but only about 10 minutes walk from San Marco etc. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with (mercifully) very good AC. Check in was smooth and very helpful and clear information left in the apartment. One issue is the keys to both get into the maisonette and especially the ground floor door are very difficult to operate - not what you need on a hot day! Kitchen is reasonably well appointed but the absence of a draining board is a challenge. The host did supply a new set of wine glasses (when we pointed out there was only one) very promptly. Communications in general were very good.The 'terrace' is about as small as you can get but we managed to eat breakfast outside - just remember to turn the AC off before you use it as the exhaust is right where you sit!The interior of the apartment lacked any noticeably Venetian styling and could have been anywhere in the world in truth but overall this was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay with minimal fuss and good host communications.
