Wunderbar wir kommen gerne wieder
Die Lage der Wohnung war zentral, aber doch sehr ruhig. Der Grundriss und die Einrichtung des Palazzos war aussergewöhnlich schön, und sehr interessant. Wir, 6 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt.

Unique and quiet Italian home in great location
There aren't too many properties in Venice like this one. With five bedrooms including three with ensuite euro-style bathrooms, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and an elevator to the apartment this was a great place for our family of 6 and could have easily accommodated a larger extended family of 8 or 10. While the location on Dosuduro may not be for everyone, we loved being out of the main tourist area, yet a short walk and water bus away from anywhere we wanted to go. The location on the water is great if you like the breeze off the water, watching the boat traffic, and hearing the church bells ring across the canal. Giorgio is an excellent and thorough host with every guide book imaginable for guests available in the unit as well as a thorough binder the explains the house rules, how to operate the appliances, and provides essential local info. The unit was clean and in excellent working order. This unit feels like you are stepping into an upscale Venetian home and we loved our stay here in Venice.

Outstanding Views & Spacious Family Apt
We stayed with our family of 5 adults March 2024. Giorgio the owner is a pleasure to work with and very helpful. We had plenty of space and Giorgio had stocked the kitchen with plenty of utensils and basic grocery supplies like milk and eggs. The apartment is centrally located and easy to walk to every major tourist destination in Venice and close to water taxi stops. The views are outstanding - you will not find views like this even in the most upscale hotels. There is an elevator in the building which is unusual for Venice. Highly recommend.

Awesome apartment!
This property was perfect for our group of nine. We stayed the last two nights of our 18 day trip in Italy. How nice to have two washers and two dryers to do some laundry before we repacked to return to Texas. The location was awesome and we enjoyed the restaurants and small grocery store nearby. Easy walk to St Marks and so fun to watch all the water traffic go by from our apartment windows and balcony. An amazing place to stay in Venice!

Pleasant pre-cruise stay!
We were 3 couples staying for 3 nights at this pleasant unit. We were lucky to get the unit in the morning, as we were tired from travelling. The photos were true to reality, and Giorgio was responsive and helpful. Having a water taxi stop at the front door was very practical and a grocery a few doors over.

Superbe appartement sur le canal de la Giudecca
L’appartement de Giorgio est un très bel appartement bourgeois qui a une âme . Nous avons l’impression d’ être reçus chez des amis. Il est suffisamment grand pour que chacun ait sa zone d’intimité avec des espaces communs spacieux. La vue sur le canal de la Giudecca est magnifique ( en contrepartie le passage permanent des bateaux rend les pièces qui sont au bord du canal, bruyantes). Il est parfaitement équipé ( nous étions 10 , 3 couples et 4 enfants et l’équipement était suffisant pour nous permettre de prendre les repas à l’appartement). Giorgio est attentif, charmant et très serviable . Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour chez lui

Apartment was beautifully designed and fantastic. Master bedroom and living room had great views of the river. Giorgio was very accommodating and helpful with arrival, touring of apartment. Waterfront restaurants and shopping was just steps out of apartment and very close to San Marco’s Square. Thanks Giorgio!!!

Beautiful view of canal.The owner was terrific. Met us on our day of arrival, showed us around the apartment. Met us on our departure date at the exact time he said he would. Arranged for a water taxi to take us to airport. Apartment located conveniently by a water taxi drop off spot as well as the water bus stop. Located in a quieter section of Venice, nice to not have the crowds and hustle and bustle. There was plenty of room for the 4 couples included in our group. Nice to have 4 bedrooms plus 5 bathrooms. Kitchen was handy for having breakfast in. We were able to pick up some groceries at a near by grocery store (sells wine and beer also) But close to some restaurants near by, right on the canal for dinners out after a busy day of sight seeing. Enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment and great service.
When our family of 10 decided to do a Greek island cruise, spending a few days in Venice ahead of that was a given. I was pleased to find a 5 BR canal view apartment to meet our needs. The apartment had plenty of space for privacy along with great common areas. The neighborhood was wonderful with a nearby market, lots of waterfront restaurants and great little unique shops. But, best of all was Giorgio, the owner, who was so helpful and accommodating. He met us for an orientation and checked in mid-stay. He also kept in touch via text for any questions we had about the apartment, the neighborhood or, really, anything. Would come back there in a heartbeat! Thanks, Giorgio!

Great place and great time!
Just spent 3 nights at Zattere with 10 friends and family members. The place and location was perfect for us! Had a view of the main canal with walkable distances to San Marcos Square and all kinds of cafes and shopping areas. The owner, Giorgio, could not have been more helpful. He was always available to us. In fact offering a local dentist for one of our team members who had a sore tooth. In addition, the water taxi stop was right outside the rental. We will be coming back to Venice again soon and hope that this place is open to us again. Thank you Giorgio for everything!

Perfect location, lovely apartment.
Three generations, all nine of us, enjoyed our stay immensely. Giorgio arranged our water taxis both to the apartment and the end of our stay. He was was delightful and helpful in every way. The apartment is spacious and beautifully appointed, reminiscent of old Venice but with modern bathrooms, kitchens and two washing machines that were in constant use with three teenage grandaughters. We all agreed that this is where we will stay on any return visits. The views were fabulous and after a tiring day it was wonderful to sit on the balcony and drink a lovely glass or two of wine. Dorsodoro is a great area, near to everything away from the crowds.

Perfect stay in Venice for a group of friends
This apartment caught my eye when I started to search for somewhere for a group of 6 of us to stay to celebrate my birthday. Once I had seen the main bedroom with the balcony and the views over the Guidecca canal, I stopped looking for anywhere else.The reality was even better than the description. The layout of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for a group and everything worked well. The apartment is a nice mix of traditional and modern - great walk-in shower and comfortable beds Giorgio was very helpful in dealing with our various arrival and departure times and helped me plan ahead by recommending restaurants for dinner. Even in early March they were busy so it was well worth it to book ahead. The location is very good, within easy reach of Vaparetto stops and the Alilaguna stop for direct airport access. There is plenty to see and do within walking distance, we probably could have managed without using public transport if I didn't have a bad knee ! I would love to come back to this wonderful apartment.

Perfect house with the perfect host!
What a wonderful house! Stayed here with a total of 7 people (70 years to 12 years). We were all able to have our own space yet hang out together when we wanted to. Giorgio is so kind and met us off the boat (and also helped us with great instructions on what water bus to catch to get to his house) He showed us all around the apartment and gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and coffee places. The A/C was so nice to have during those hot nights too. The location of the apartment was such that it was easy to go to the inner city of Venice, yet if we needed to escape from the crowds we could. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family to come visit Giorgio!
