Besten Dank für die schönen Worte und die Ausgezeichneten Vorschläge, Robert. Wir werden tatsächlich Tvera für 8 Leute "herablassen" im Sinne, dass "Less is more"! Aber die Kaffeemaschine lassen wir so -bis wir uns im Sicheren sind, dass alle Leute eine Bohnen-Maschine ordentlich bedienen können! Bei euren nächsten Mal könnte es doch so weit sein!!

Gäste wie Ihr sind jederzeit wieder willkommen, geschweige denn wenn sie aus Baden Württemberg stammen!

Kyle, It was very nice to learn to know you both, even if we never saw each other! But we simply admired your resilience in the winter weathers of the Icelandic Westfjords! Welcome back, anytime!

We had a wonderful visit at our most remote vacation cottage in the Southern Westfjords of Iceland in the shortest days of the winter. Stephen Warrington and his two kids were the perfect people for this, knowing how to tackle all things in this time of the year, when you can expect snow and wind. We sometimes say: come to Iceland if you want to fight the mighty elements and forces of nature! They were the right people, staying at the right place and bringing much welcomed life in our house middle of the winter! Always welcome again to any of our cottages!

Many thanks for your kind words regarding our lodge Tvera. Yes, this area is an outdooring paradise + all the interesting sights, like the Waterfall Dynjandi, the puffin cliffs at Látrabjarg or the stunning red beach at Raudasandur. And our Tvera is located just at the crossroads to anywhere in the Westfjords. Hope to see you great guys around again!

I'm happy the hear that you like lodge Tvera, it's surroundings and the natural beauty of the West Fjords, -the ocean, the shore, the waterfalls, the mountains, the natural geothermal pools, just as much I do. Thank you very much and welcome anytime again!

The review just describes our lodge Tvera just as we feel it, an ideal place for hikes, sight seeings -and relaxation. And it took a while for us to understand, we bought this property (back in 2002) not because of the house, but for the location!
