« One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed! The property and house were absolutely perfect for a relaxed family get together. Highlights included game nights, chatting on the enclosed porch, morning coffee on the back deck and a sunset bocce game…so many memories. Agree with everything written in all previous reviews, but would add that my favorite parts were the bonafide gorgeous pollinator garden and the abundance of delightful art throughout the house and property! « The kids spent hours in the pool and this was the perfect place for our reunion with friends. We hope to return again. »

« Stayed here with friends for the Fourth of July weekend. Super relaxing, we loved seeing all the animals run around! There is not much to do in the immediate area but it was a relaxing jumping off point for the rest of our trip. »

« Wonderful vacation rental. Property was clean and well equipped. Check in was easy. We all enjoyed the farm animals. The house is large and comfortable and the pool was great. Plenty of things to do in the area. »

« The reviews are all stellar for a reason--they are well earned. No complaints from anyone in the family. Great launch point to visit Shenandoah NP where we spent several days hiking. Only negative there is we didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the property. Would love to stay here again and spend more time on the porch, by the river, in town....Two things that might be helpful (somewhat covered in other reviews). The last bit of the walk to the river isn't obvious. The given directions are fine...

« The StoneHouse was perfect for our adult family of 8 and a baby! It was charming, clean and well equipped! Thw Market was a BIG hit with us all and the couple that ran it were amazing! So welcoming and accommodating! We were in town for a celebration of life so ot was great for our family to have this peaceful place to retreat to. We would definitely stay here again!!! »

« We loved the property so much. We came back a second time! Great place to stay if you want comfort and privacy and many places to explore on and off the property. Our kids loved playing in the creek catching crawfish, campfires in the evenings roasting marshmallows by the creek makes for great family memories. We will definitely be back again! »

« This secluded farmhouse nestled in the valley below Shenandoah National Park was the perfect spot for a last minute getaway.Our dogs loved the expansive yard and we loved sitting on the back porch to take in the sights and sounds of the National Park.The house is 15 minutes from Luray in one direction and the Thornton Gap Entrance to the National Park in the other.The house itself is as stunning as it looks in the pictures and the hosts were very communicative. We hope to make it back soon! »

« Tip of the hill was a great place to stay! All needs were met staying here. Laura was great and communicated well. We had family arrive from NYC, Maine, Arizona and Ohio. Great central location for Fall wedding nearby. »

« House is large and comfortable with a beautiful location and view. Very close to Skyland Drive. Kid friendly with crib and high chair. The host was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend and come again. »

« We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was spotless, well equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect… Peaceful and serene. We especially loved the outdoor space which had a kitchen and a pool. We had eight grandchildren with us that said it was the best vacation yet. Randy the host was responsive and made check in easy. We definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway »

« privacy was great! A/C not great so bring a few fans (we did!) for upstairs - otherwise we loved the location, the privacy and the quiet of the country. house was just as the pictures showed. we will be looking forward to returning some day! »
