« We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by...

« The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. « We had a lovely stay at Piwari Villa. Vicky and Abby are lovely hosts and easy to communicate with. The house is tidy and warm. We also get a lovely view of Mt Ruapehu and had a nice soaked at the spa pool after a long day with kids. We definitely recommend this place. »

« Beautiful home and amenities/activities. Every room had a spacious bed and each bed had electric blankets (wonderful in the winter!). The home is warm and feels welcoming as soon as you step inside. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. The host is very friendly and had the heaters going for us by the time we got there. »

The place was well set up, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free visit. The space was warm, welcoming, and clearly well loved — it really felt like a home away from home. »
