We love this house - this is our second stay here. It's well equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, games, books, etc.) and well maintained. It's light and bright, cozy and welcoming. We had a great time with our kids celebrating my 70th birthday. Beautiful house, responsive host! We will be back.

This is a nicely updated house with a good view of the ocean, well-stocked linens, and thoughtful amenities, including for pampered bathing, dogs, and young children. The skylights in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms keep the house light and bright. The fireplace worked great for a lovely Presto log fire but don't expect it to put out much heat. There is Wi-Fi included which my friend thought slower than what she usually encounters; it was fine for my limited Internet activities. There is a hot tub but due to the stormy weather during our stay I didn't examine it under daylight so I can't comment on the cleanliness of the water. For our stay, there was a lack of cleaning of some interior surfaces and kitchen items, missing trash can liners, and some lightbulbs and batteries that needed replaced. I did not see the gym or workout area that is in the listing but that wasn't a feature I was looking for anyway. It was really easy to walk a few blocks to the beach trail and right onto the beach.

Great location! Walk down gentle hill a half block to matted entry walkway ( no struggle walking through sand) directly onto beach. Nice ocean views out front and side windows.Kitchen well equipped. Stove top could use some new markings for burner choice and heat temp. Hot tub was clean, private and well maintained. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of towels for bathroom and hot tub. Bathroom in hallway could use a window covering. Plenty of parking. Grill worked great! Close to town and grocery stores and shopping. Great set up for kids with plenty of books, games and toys. Appreciated not having to strip beds! We had a wonderful experience and would definitely rent this property again!

Quiet but needs a little work

The house was in a great location, the view was great. The house wasn’t cleaned well before our arrival, there was dog hair everywhere. We didn’t bring our dog because she sheds, but after seeing the hair I wished we had. The door needs repair, and the bathroom window doesn’t close. Other than that it was a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked, there was games to play , and the beds were comfortable.

Very nice place. Kitchen very well appointed, actually had spices and sharp knives! We donated a potato masher to the utensil drawer. Removing the hot tub cover was a little tough because of the tight location but the tub itself was very nice. Only issue was when we pulled out the hideabed and it appeared it hadnt been checked in a while. Front porch light flickers. Everything else was great!

Coastal getaway

The house is nicely located to the beach and other areas of interest. It’s one level and was perfect for our young dog, we could even close off the master suite with a hallway door. The only downside was, to many light switches/dimmers with no labeling to what source of light it controls.

Lovely house and Location

We’re two seniors in Oregon to visit our grandson and wife and touring. We started in Portland, visited aeugene two days and booked VBROs two weeks in Florence and Waldport and we’ll spend the final week seeing more of the coast and a few scenic drives. We were disappointed in the second house because the views were supposed to be “Breathtaking” but were marred by condos and telephone poles and large pine trees … one broken. Our first rental had truly breathtaking views and the cost was about equal for both. The house had many positive features but we rented it for the views so feel short changed. Sorry but other people should be advised the Pacific is visible but it is truly not great scenery with all the intrusions.

not the cleanest. found some dirty dishes put away as clean. Table top was sticky. Water (I hope) under the base of the reading lamp in the master bedroom. Then, on the way out they want you to clean up the kitchen, do the dishes, put on a load of laundry and pick up all the dog hair... and leave a tip for the housekeeper??? Ha!

Beautiful home in quiet Waldport

We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home in peaceful, tranquil Waldport. The house has a partial view of the beach and the entrance to the beach is just down the street a block away. The beach is not busy, but very peaceful and has beautiful sand to walk on. We would definitely consider coming back when we want to retreat and just have a quiet, recuperative vacation.

Great Beach House

Well-equipped beach house in walking distance to a gorgeous beach. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a small convenience store close by for snacks and wine. We had a great time during our weeklong stay. Would definitely book again.

Ocean view and easy beach access

The house was exactly as advertised and only a short walk to the ocean and a long beach. There are views of the ocean from the living and dining room, as well as the kitchen. The house was clean and well-stocked, with lots of instructions/guidance to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The owners have furnished the house with quality items, and it is evident that they have given a great deal of thought to making the house a home away from home. We would definitely recommend the Wave House to anyone staying in the area for a few days or much longer.

Mother’s Day Getaway

We all loved this property! In fact, our 4 year old is still talking about how she misses “that beach house”. It had everything we could have possibly needed in the kitchen!
